I never got into Sunshine that much.....but I think I will enjoy this better. |

would it be possible to bring back Bowser Jr/shadow Mario scene, you know, he was the MAIN boss in the game. And he was the one who drew paint on the wall witch aloud you to go into the courses |

Posted by Somebody Else I was thinking, why not just replace the rabbits models, animations, and sound with Shadow Mario. This may very well emulate what the original boss was. You could ASM hack some basic stuff to get it to work better in the game, like spawning a star. Just an idea I thought worth sharing. Edit: Now that I think more on it, it probably would require more ASM hacking than a said for it to look good, however the rabbits could still be a good base. |

I have a theory of how to include usable F.L.U.D.D., but probably it would need some hard hacking.
You could use the Fwoosh enemy attack as a base for the water that FLUDD launches, in case you not know Fwoosh this is him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz8w25nmd54 or you could use snufit, if you dont know him this is him: http://mario.wikia.com/wiki/Snufit What im saying is, if its possible you could add any of these two enemies behaviors, for example: the Fwoosh wind could work as water sprite, but with the Fwoosh behavior into FLUDD, or if its possible, add the Fwoosh wind or the Snufit bullets into the cannon of FLUDD, so the Bullets or the wind could spawn if you press certain button( i dont know if this is possible, but i suppose it is if you modify the code or ASM, i dont know exactly how the ASM hacking works because i only know it from when i hacked Super Mario 64 so i could import maps) |

Posted by Somebody Else When did Bowser Jr. randomly pop out? I don't remember this. Also moneybags (I think that's the "frog thing" you are talking about) does not, to my knowledge, follow a path. In SMS Shadow Mario follows a set path and you have to chase him and spray him with water, he never really "attacks" but if you collide with him you lose health, he would also leave "muck" trails to hinder your movement. The challenge was mostly avoiding falling off the world when chasing him. At-least that is what I remember from playing Super Mario Sunshine. My rabbit idea has pitfalls because colliding with rabbits will not hurt you and there is no "muck" in SM64 for the rabbits to spawn. Perhaps what the game needs is a new boss, while I personally think money bags doesn't make a Shadow Mario it made me think that money bags could be an excellent base for modification into a different boss. Moneybags could be enlarged and chase you around the map! Progress looks great Fiachra! Will you be using your own "episodes/stars/missions" in the game or is the idea to port as much of the original Sunshine as possible and modify/add where necessary? |

Posted by peyton Yeah, it'll be all the bigger (non-space ones) bonus levels apart from Super Slide, there are some strange collision issues I can't get around. Prashoe: It'll be as many original ones as I can and then new ones to fill in the gaps. Koopa the Quick would probably be best for Shadow Mario, if you increase his speed and added damage upon collision. At the minute if you collide you he bounced back a bit so hopefully it should be possible. |

"only the hovering"? the hover F.L.U.D.D will be in the hack? if it will be, luigi, wario and yoshi would use recoloured versions of F.L.U.D.D, no? |
