After thinking of this concept for a while I finally decided to make this galaxy
I modeled the megaman head using sketchup because it tends to work well with making 3D models out of sprites
The blocks such as the metal block, wood block, and regular brick block were made in 3ds max (thanks to stomatol for help picking out textures for the blocks, they were originally going to be solid colors, and boy was that boring :P)
Here is a video that shows it off

Here is a picture from Whitehole

I plan on adding more 8\16 bit characters and im open to suggestions :D
thanks for reading!

Nope, i got a sprite sheet from TSR and did some editing to get them

Were you trying to view your converted model with BMDView2? models converted with obj2bdl cannot be seen in BMDView2. If you cant see your model when its imported to whitehole make sure you have it entered in the BCSV correctly, if you still have issues you can look at NWPlayer123's tutorial here: https://kuribo64.net/?page=thread&id=812 you can use it to find out where your having your problem.

OKK Thanks! I did what you told me and edited bcsv now I have entered the name of my galaxy/planet :)

I know have a bdl file, a pa file and a kcl file. Now where do i place them ?

I created a folder in stagedata and called it the name of my planet. But whitehole doesn't show it ?

Thank you very much :))

You have to pack the folder with the model and collision files into a .arc then to .arc.yazo and remove the .yaz0 and put in in the ObjectData folder and edit the model into another galaxy (such as flipswap), lets move this conversation to questions and answers, its kinda clogging up this thread

Looks good!, I think with a good background this is going not be awesome, maybe you should gather some Ideas from SM3DL. It has an old style level ;D

The reason you can't see it, is because it used MDL3 and BmdViewer2 doesn't support that.

Although by adding a few lines, it would be visible, so why would we care, we can see it in whitehole. :P

Anyways, nice work, keep up the progress.

I think you need a giant blocky planet, maybe a tower of some sort, with hidden places. I dunno.

I might try using the brick blocks to build a tower, thanks for the idea

You should do an area with Mario's cap and shirt made with the red platforms, and his overalls with the blue flip ones.
