I don't get an error when importing that model. Are you using R74 of the editor?
The model you're using isn't animated, you shouldn't use the animation editor to import it. Also, there's a bug in the animation editor where it doesn't actaully save the changes, I forgot un-comment the save command. Here's an updated version of the executable: https://www.sendspace.com/file/rxrjm5 2nd problem: You need to tell me what you did when the error occurred. 3rd problem: this isn't a problem; it's a feature of the original game that lets you change the 'Actor' upon entering, this is in the entrance object parameters. See skawo's post here. |

Is there a way to get around collision issues, Yoshi keeps falling through parts of my model? Also to make Textures brighter? My sister said that's just how the NDS' Graphic hardware is. ____________________ Subscribe to my youtube channel Follow me on twitter My Modification's progress thread here |

Set 'Drop faces below' to zero, this will keep every face from the model.
If your textures are too dark, it could be that they're using a diffuse colour darker than white, for OBJ this'll be in the .mtl file under 'Kd' and should be "Kd 1 1 1", DAE should default to white when a texture is used. |

That's a very old version, the latest versions are always posted in the 'Editor Development' thread, look 2 or 3 pages back for R74.
.7z files are compressed archives and can be opened with 7-Zip or WinRar. |

yeah suggestion, I had also people who asked to me where the editor download is. you should add the latest version to the downloads tab of Super Mario 64 DS. which is one the left on this page. somehow it leads you to the mario galaxy downloads... |

I couldn't find it... can someone just send me a dropbox link to it? I found one link, but it was on sendspace and it had billions of ads and I didn't want to download and ad by accident. |

How can I import custom sprites for: Select menu, titles etc. And How can I change/replace Models (Objects, Enemies, Charakters etc.) ?
And how can I edit Animations on Models (Or How can I edit: BCA, BMD files)? |

I can tell you did a lot of research before asking these questions...
Why not try the stickied thread called "Modify Title Screen". The buttons are stored as textures within /data/DSMT/EUR/texBank_
Using the "Import other model" button. I have already given detailed notes on replacing character models properly, see the SM64DSe wiki on Google Code.
Export them using the Animation Editor, edit them then re-import them. This only works for basic animations at the minute. You'll need a more advanced 3D editor than Sketchup, for example Blender. |

Posted by jjesss064 The model format used by SM64DS is also called BMD, though is totally different from the Gamecube/Wii format of the same name. |

Pretty much every NDS game except SM64DS uses .nsbmd. |
