This Hack is now forever canceled. Mario 64 ds does not provide the techniques to handle models with complexity, Also the bug.

I always wanted to make a ds version of banjo kazooie. after I saw what UED made, which is super banjo 64(a mario 64 hack). I had to try this too.

when I started this project I had alot of problems due to the smal size available on the ds. But thankfully I got later on a sense of modelling and I tried to change the level so that it would fit into the level. thanks to Fiachra vertex shading is now possible which makes the levels more original and pure.

I will post the finished levels here. I don't have any pictures yet but I have a youtube video.

a list of in-development of levels:
- Spiral Mountain (50%)
- Gobies Valley (25%)

Looks excellent. Does it run on actual hardware (i.e without losing polygons)?

I haven't tested it because my r4 is blocked on my 3ds. thats why I need actual testers.

But it will probably work because before I made this I had an older version imported with all the textures of the level and the bob omb battle field skybox. that worked fine. so this level has to run smoother because I use now less textures and have my own background with less polygons and less texture data.

1. My R4 isn't blocked by my 3DS
2. Suggestion: Spiral Mountain Custom Music!

skawo said that clean mode doesn't work on 4GB+ micro SD cards, and many people use at least 4GB+.

Well i'm going to test 2 hacks from this site right now on my ds and i'll tell you the results.

But i played many homebrew games, and i don't see with hacks wouldn't work

EDIT: I tested both Another Super Mario 3D and Super Mario Sunshine DS in clean mode and they worked great!

DSTwo does work with SDHC cards in clean mode, but the loading is usually pretty slow and may cause crashes due to how long it takes.

I'm really looking forward to playing this, I really love how well Spiral Mountain turned out, and it has me excited to see more screenshots and videos. Keep up the good work!

You should port all the levels (making them low-poly of course), and maybe even Banjo as a playable character!

Haha, it'd be cool to see the characters replaced with Banjo characters, like Banjo over Mario or Luigi, Kazooie over Yoshi, and even Grunty or Klungo over Wario!
