Pretty funny how the game isn't out, yet you have an opinion about it already.

Uh, the game's been out since Friday.
I'm halfway through, having just beaten the World 3 boss.

It's going to be released on the 16th for the people in Europe, apparently. The whole world isn't just North America and Japan, y'know :P

I can't find Mario Kart 8 in the shops here in Germany. But we must wait.

Why is the release here in Europe later than in America?

Because of distributors and whatsoever.

Then, Europe is always last continent for Nintendo Release. I don't like this.
...
And who Nintendo Make Mario Kart? Nintendo in America or in Japan?

Europe is not always the latest continent. Oceania is always the latest. Some games get released a year later in Australia.
...
Nintendo in Japan will do most work but I'm sure there's people working on it from all over the world.

Speaking of that, how's 3DS hacking going? I hear there may be public exploits released soon. I hope it won't turn into another DSi, ie unhackable unless you're lucky and have the right game/firmware/etc.

A public exploit release would be the only thing who'd restore my faith in the 3DS hacking scene, because so far:

* Only public exploit is a piracy-only device that randomly bricks your 3DS if you try to mess with it (I hope the Gateway guys get sued by Nintendo for this)
* More than $2000 in donations stolen. The guy who was doing the fundraiser just disappeared along with his website.
* No public release because 'it could enable piracy' (that's already the case, blarg)
* A wiki that is closed to new users because the webmaster doesn't know how to keep spammers out (ask me, blarg -- see, this board rarely ever gets spammers!)
* And no possibility of installing a homebrew channel or custom firmware or whatever cleanly

Hell, the WiiU scene might have more chance. But then again, is there really much of an interest?

So, I just watched Lord of the Flies (1990) after reading the book almost 1 year ago. I have to say, it's just as good if not better than the book. The soundtrack was also really amazing and memorable.

LotF? At my school they only showed us the 1963 version. It sucked. Worse than the book

I liked the cast of the 1990 version way more than the 1963 one, it felt to me like they fit the descriptions a lot more.

I love physics, and I love chemistry. My favorite subjects at school. I got a physics test tomorrow, still gotta study. I just find everything those 2 sciences have to offer I find so awesome. Then theres biology... Which is ok, but not as fascinating as physics or chemistry.

It's interesting and very useful, but the amount of equations you have to memorize for the multiple choice since they don't give it to you is fkn nonsense.

That is nonsense, since our teacher just gives us the equations for tests, so we dont have to memorize useless shit and actually do well

No, I meant the actual AP test administered by the college board

They let me bring a graphing calculator in when I took it for physics. It was hilarious because I literally had a program with all the equations where all I had to do is insert the variables and get the answers.

To be fair, I was the school's calculator wizard, and I doubt many other people took that route.

I know what you mean. My math teacher once didn't know anyone knew how to use the graphing function of his graphing calculator, so I asked for one and he gave it to me without worries. That calculator made my 1:20 test into a 40 minute test :D
