At my school, (I live in Texas btw) they only cancel the school when the roads are covered in ice. Doesn't matter how much it snows, it's only canceled if it's not possible to drive on the road.

So uh, awkward. This kid has been annoying me and has been threatening to beat me up during the whole school year, so I told him to actually beat me up this time. We kind of got in a fight, and he pulled a bunch of bullshit like "If you weren't defending yourself I could destroy you". During the next class, he sat next to me and threw my pencil case across the room and shit. Being the little idiot that I am, and since I care way too much about my property and that crap, I shoved him across the room. Around that time, the teacher walked into the room, saw what was happening, and asked me to go to the bathroom to wash my face. Around that time, I started hyperventilating a bit. I spent 5 minutes in the bathroom trying to calm down.
The teacher finally told me to come back, since she had heard the full story from my classmates, and took me to the vice principal along with the other kid. The Vice Principal sounded really mad and he said that the other kid was really getting on his nerves. Our Turkish teacher sent a witness from my class up to the vice principal's office as well, and he got this other kid into the mess, who was kind of a bully but never bothered me that much. When the Vice Principal said that both of them were going to get punished, I tried to stop it because I feel really guilty when stuff like that happens. I managed to get the other kid out of trouble later, but the first kid got stuck with cleaning up the corridors and our school yard during his lunch breaks for an unspecified amount of time. Just thought I'd post that, since I haven't posted in a while and I didn't know what to post :< ____________________

Glad justice was done. And it's also good that that little twat bully got an actual punishment and not some petty 'write some sentence 20 times' type shit.
Also you seem to defend yourself well. Out of curiosity, did you do anything that could have made that kid hate you, or is it just that he's retarded? ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

I don't *think* so, I never talked to him before this year since he wasn't in my class until now. And if there was something about me that annoyed him, he never told me about it. ____________________

Posted by Polari I laughed hard when I read that sentence. You should have yelled "NO FUCKING SHIT SHERLOCK!" right at his face. Although you should have taken that as a compliment. If he was so powerful that he could "destroy you", but couldnt because of your "defense" then you're surely doing a great job defending yourself. ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. So huh, Prime Minister has blocked Twitter. There's a rumor going around that Youtube might get blocked as well.
And yay, first day of the JMUN conference down. It was pretty fun, then again, it is only the first day.. Oh hey, they uploaded that pretty quickly ____________________

Soo Sonic Lost World now has a Legend of Zelda Free DLC that is open-world, has dungeons, rupees and Zelda enemies and Link himself even makes an appearance! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1X9s9d0XAK4
... FUCK IT I'M BUYING THE GAME! No seriously THIS is how you sell your low-rated Games, Nintendo! The 2 DLCs for the game (the Yoshi's Island & Zelda ones) alone are more appealing to me than the entire rest of the game. (I played the demo and the gameplay was.....meh. I could probably be used to it but it felt very awkward compared to the older games like Generations). On that note why couldn't they just port Sonic Generations to Wii U? I know it originally didnt release on the Wii U since it wasnt out yet and the Wii had too little power, but would it hurt them to just make a quick port? Chances are that it will sell more than Lost World did :p ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. Prime Minister blocked Youtube, though everybody's using proxies to get around it and stuff.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship_of_YouTube I also like how Turkey has the longest section on that page. ____________________

If im correct, you can also use dns's to get on blocked websites. For example, use 8.8.8.8 i think that's googles, so you can go to any webpage. |

So today we have the thickest fog I've ever seen in this area, and one of the biggest ones period. Basically your line of sight extends to maximum 10 metres. If something is more than 10 metres away from you no matter what direction, you CAN'T see it no matter what. Only exceptions are very bright lights (no, huge-ass houses and skyscrapers do not count).
It feels like I'm watching a video with the worst screen resolution ever no matter where I go (note that even if you can see it, everything is at least mildly blurred unless you're 5 meters or closer to that object). None of you are probably impressed, but for me and the people living here, this is a REALLY unusual sight (fogs themselves are uncommon, and this particular one is at least twice as thick as 90% of the other ones) ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. Damn guys, Turkey is oozing 'democracy' right now. We had elections a few days ago, and apparently a bunch of votes against the party who has been in office for 20 years have been burned and destroyed, and of course no one can do shit because they bribed every fucking important person that could do anything. (Gee, this sounds like a case from Phoenix Wright)
On an unrelated note, I had a nice chat with out bus driver today about how people on the bus are spoilt little shits :< ____________________

So Youtube recently decided to force the lame Flash player on me for no apparent reason, even though the HTML5 player worked just fine.
I took the useragent of the last Chrome version and put it into Firefox, and try viewing a Youtube video. Surprise, the HTML5 player is back. Half the images are missing, though, because identifying as Chrome makes Youtube send them in some silly format only Chrome understands, but the player works fine. I'll add that Firefox is up to date. So apparently the requirements for the HTML5 player are that... you use Chrome. Silly Google. Edit- even better. I tried IE10, and it's getting HTML5, despite the fact that a) it has less support than Firefox and b) HTML5 is reportedly not enabled under it. What the hell, Google?! ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |
