The question is self explanatory, who do you think will not come back in SSB4? Be sure to select a few people, and provide reasoning on who will be cut from the roster.
I chose Pichu, Dr. Mario, Roy, and Young Link because, well, they are blatant clones and were cut from Brawl. Wolf because I thought 3 similar Starfox Characters was just overdoing it. G&W because he is an obscure character and doesn't really seem Smash Bros to me. Ice Climbers because, well, they aren't relevant. ROB because he's useless. Ike because he will be replaced with a new fire emblem character. Lucas because he is a useless clone. ____________________

I've chosen Pichu, Young Link, Roy, Meta Knight, Ike and the Ice Climbers.
The first three are self-explanitory. Meta Knight because I think even Nintendo noticed how overused and overpowered he was, and unlike Dedede he isn't featured AT ALL in the latest Kirby Game (Triple Deluxe), while Dedede has a role just as big as Kirby's in that game. Ike because he will obviously be replaced by Chrom, although they might always include 3 Fire Emblem characters for some reason..... Ice Climbers simply because idk how they would fare on the 3DS version and Rosalina's concept is similiar to theirs. I'm also a little undecided about ROB. He doesn't seem to be a likely inclusion, but the fact that they brought back Game & Watch to Brawl makes me believe that ROB's chance isn't that small. ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. Posted by angelyoshi34 Falco crappy? LOL He's top tier in both Melee and Brawl, and one of the best characters. The deal with him is that it takes lots of technical skill to use him properly. (I'm not good with Falco either, but most skilled players can wreck with him). Same with Jigglypuff (at least in Melee). Anyway I forgot to mention Snake. I really WANT him to return, but something tells me Sakurai won't include another third-party. Although Meta-Knight was overpowered in Brawl, I don't think they should remove him.
Meta-Knight was an awesome addition to the game and one of the most unique characters. The only thing bad about him (besides his uncanny power) is his final smash. I think they should give him some Bowser treatment and completely revamp him as they did with said character, who knows? Maybe they could take a little inspiration from Meta-Knight's moveset from Kirby's Return to Dreamland, which seems much more balanced for a fighting game, but still have Meta-Knight's quirky nature. So it would be bad for him not to return. I don't get it. Ness is meant for the air, whereas Lucas is meant for the ground. Ness can combo easier than Lucas can, but Lucas has better recovery options. They have different playstyles. Not to mention they only share about 3 specials (and even then with notable differences aside from just speed/power), 1 Smash attack (Ness' Bat & Lucas' Stick), an Up Air (the headbutt) and a Final Smash (though Lucas' is superior lol). It's like calling a knife and a pair of scissors the same thing. ------------- Anyways, as for my thoughts, I doubt those from Melee would return. To be honest I'm not really expecting cuts, but if I were to go with one, I'd have to go with Snake. He felt out of place and I thought he would've fit better in Playstation All-Stars instead. Plus I just found him RIDICULOUS to fight. 
If he does return though please make sure his magic feet and magic knee don't (the range and power of those... ridiculous). Also I don't even get why Yoshi/Captain Falcon/Ness are in the poll LOL ____________________ Yo-YO, let's GO! The PSI Prodigy! (SSB4 Ness Combo Video!) |

Whoever wants zero suit samus and sheik to be taken out must really want those characters to be terrible.
Anyways, I'd like Falco to be taken out, as Fox and Wolf are significantly more different than either of those and Falco. |

I selected Pichu, Dr. Mario, Ike, Roy, Wolf, Snake, Young Link, and ROB. Most of these characters haven't appeared since Melee or just have no chance. ____________________ You can tell I'm testing new avatars. Status: Totally didn't change this, nothing to see here. |

ROB returning would be an even bigger waste in the roster than Toon Link, hope they don't bring him back. |
