Now you may wonder: "What the fuck does this have to do with Smash Bros?".

Well, take a look at the battle mode (near the end of the video). IT LOOKS JUST LIKE SMASH BROS! (There's even a thing that's just like Classic mode from Melee/Brawl. The stages look like some Kirby stage right outta SSB, items appear and kirby's copy abilities control similar to most Smash characters.)

I think it looks interesting, and it would be kindof a ripoff if it wasn't made by Nintendo, but I hope this game gets a release soon, so I can imagine slightly how Smash on 3DS will be like (of course it will be completely different, but I want to see how it will be to generally fight on such small stages on the 3DS and how fast I can mash the buttons).

Also I hope Kirby can choose the "Smash" copy ability. Then it will be just like playing as SSB Kirby against....more Kirbys. (Also note that the evil Kirby at the end of "Classic Mode" uses the Final Boss Music from Kirby's Return to Dreamland! :D)

And can someone remind me why the Kirby thread is locked..? >_<

I'm taking this as partial confirmation that Wario returns in SSB4. Would make little sense to exclude him and yet add Assist Characters from his series (and he does have his own Wii U game.....).

It's funny how they still haven't announced Ness, Falcon or Yoshi. I know they're waiting so they can announce Yoshi when "Yoshi's New Island" releases, but what about the other 2 (Earthbound sequel and another F-zero? Nintendo pls :3)

TBH I think Wario is kind of a waste in the roster, he's an alright character but...meh

Apparently some guy (most likely not from Nintendo) posted 2 images which seemingly confirm Palutena as a playable character on 3DS.

Reliable people have checked and that Palutena model is NOT from Kid Icarus Uprising or any currently released Nintendo game yet. The picture is also apparently taken directly from a 3DS.

Also notable facts:
That Mario model has NOT been seen in a previous screen
The background is 100% original (although it looks like 3DS Battlefield)
The Palutena model has an outline

There was also something similiar before, where a leaked Wii U image featuring Lucina was "Leaked", but it turned out to be a fake. (the image was from a brawl mod)

MM720's Opinion: I think this is actually pretty legit looking. Unlike Wii U images it's impossible to hack a game to look like this (and even if it were I doubt anyone would go as far as to make 2 detailed models like that just for a fake picture). Besides, Sakurai himself said that the game is going to feature more females and everyone expected another Kid Icarus character (although I hoped for Magnus.....).

So while I'm not gullible enough to instantly take this as official proof and instant confirmation, I still believe this looks highly real and will be surprised if it turns out to be fake. What are your opinions?

Interesting. More new characters, rather than veterans which people already played with them the past game(s) :P

But on closer look, it looks fake. See Palutena's outlines and compare them to Mario's outline. Unless you can set the outline thickness per character or the characters normally have different default outline thickness, I say its fake.
