Not surprisingly, I saw this ad for an Xbox one game called NBA something whatever, and it boasted all about its realism and fps, and graphics quality. The thing it doesn't boast about, is the "how fun it is to play" quality. Its just typical.... and its so unlike Nintendo ads ____________________ Remember, every user has to start out somewhere,- Every time I look back at my old posts, I cringe. |

aaaand EA was voted the "Worst Company in America" AGAIN. This marks 2 years in a row.
Normally you'd think they would have learned their problem since last year's fail, but no they're just derping around more and more. Not surprised if they win next year too. They should really take some hints from Nintendo: - Not publish half-done games and sell the other half as expensive DLC later. DLC should be created AFTER the game is published, be cheap (depends on the length of course though) and only be made if fans desperately crave it or they had more ideas that they couldn't put in-game because of time constraints. - NOT act like assholes to the other game publishers and y'know actually be nice and not huge-ass dicks. - NOT publish the literally exact same game with a couple of different textures and a slightly different menu screen over 10 times for full price each time (looking especially at the sport games they publish!). Uhm, you do know cod is published by activision NOT EA.
EA is bad because of 2 reasons. 1. Rushing games: many games have been rushed out before they were finished, and there are many bugs left in the final product. Look at GTA 5, it was delayed, but it was a GREAT success. Watch Dogs is also getting delayed. 2. Dont use always online if servers are shit. Simcity suffered this and took the company down. Rockstar suffered from this in GTA 5's launch. Now. Remember EA is a publisher, it doesnt make the games. So really, if you call a game bad, it isn't the publisher. The publisher is the coordinator of when the product comes out, sets up distribution, servers, and dlc. Finally, its not hard to see EA's disapreciation by the fans, they added codes for one time play on consoles back in 2011 and they have to compete vs steam with their shit origin. They just wont give up origin, even though its kinda shit. Anyway, Im releaved that companies like Maxis and DICE which have to stick with EA, still work their hardest and try to fix their stuff. |

And yes what you said is true. They also failed with BF4 regarding Servers and some DLC (According to the Internet)
Also while I don't blame them for the games themselves, I blame them for constantly publishing the most rehashed games in existence (yeah even Nintendo doesn't do it as bad as them, although Nintendo do come in a close spot). And some things, like their jerkass attitudes to other publishers and developers is clearly their fault.
