Nope, I don't even think it's possible to warp using an entrance like that, otherwise we'd have a hell of a lot different of levels.

The Warp Pad leads you to an island out in the sea. It has Delfino Plaza-like buildings which are too tall to climb. These buildings provide as a barrier so that you cannot leave the island. The island is basically a courtyard. On the island will need to defeat six Piranha Plants with a Rainbow Star to get three 1-Up Mushrooms.


Just bringing back up that a bonus island would be a nice, themed replacement for the bonus planets. I think the idea above could possibly work.

Not that I know of. I believe Glem might redo the model sometime this month. The model was okay and it was at first only an import test. Also, there is technically no design for Bob-omb Battlefield yet.

Glem's trying to work on designs, and texturing. And moreso working on galaxies that will probably be in the trailer. He's not doing anything with this galaxy

Not really, the only real problem is most modelers don't know how to texture with shadows and such, because we have to bake on lighting and such.

Hmm I think sketchup will do the trick for me (I texture too =D).

I know how to bake textures easily. I did a test with it and fully imported a shaded cube into Whitehole.

Y'know, in the next couple of weeks, I'll see if I can try creating Ricco Harbor again. I have the model and all. I just need to figure out how to add water.

Something to be made known: the Yoshi's Island 3 segment is in need of a redesign, as my old models for it are way too high-poly to work and I'm not just going to redo them without having some fun. So for whoever wants to redesign it, we're basically going for the same base level as far as platforms and stuff, but change it up to be more like a Galaxy game. (i.e. not just a straight path, not just one direction of gravity, etc)

Mehh it's been a while since I came/post here but maybe someone wants to use my old half polished and retextured SM64DS. I gave up on making it because I failed to get it to appear ingame so someone with more knowlegde than me may want to give it a try.
May try it myself again in the future so keep up with SMG2.5 guys!

Seeing as we are doing an SMS(or most likely) we might port some animations from SMS to SMG, but im not entirely sure, but it worked for MKDD. It should be possible. I think it would work best with ported water. I can remember it showing up on the SMS models martboo ported. Anyway, this is just a note for the future.

Edit: Im pretty sure the water model is separate from the actual harbor

That's what he's saying. Since in SMS water is it's own model and I think also has it's own animation for said water, it wouldn't be hard to convert the BMD to BDL and use that as a basis.
