Google and Apple will get world domination.
Anyways, fuck Google. I'd rather build my own damn video service and deny anything Google wants to get it in any way. ____________________ a |

Posted by Luigi Good idea. Anyway, Youtube will die because of Google's crap. Our videos are not in a securised place. It'd be awesome to have a place like youtube... but made like acmlm made acmlmboard. |

SMALL RANT ALERT!
Stygmax you're missing the point. Sure what they've done now isn't that bad and we can all live with it, but by not complaining about this we are basically giving Google the right to do whatever shit they want to Youtube without caring about us (since like a few of you say "we will get used to it") I won't be surprised if it suddenly becomes announced next month that all Youtube comments require Google Approval before posting and/or that all Youtube users must have a picture of their real selves on it We need to show Google that they can't do what they want. We need to show them that we're not dependant on Youtube and that we will NOT obey whatever weird-ass rules they make in the future. Of course there is a small chance that Google may change Youtube for the Better in the future, but they've not done a damn horrible job at keeping people optimistic! Imagine this: You live in a country that has just gotten a new leader. Said leader then makes a weird law that prevents people from kissing outside while it's raining. Everyone then thinks: That's odd but we can all live with that no problem!. Then another month later, the leader makes a rule about not being allowed to wear T-Shirts and Jeans at the same time. Everyone still thinks that it's really weird but not a big problem. And so every later month the new leader keeps making stupid changes to the law that aren't major but still make a difference. Now would you rather: 1: do nothing and let more and more weird laws pop up until the country becomes outright horrible to live in OR 2: Rally a bunch of country inhabitants and openly protest against the laws, which then has a chance of making the leader make the laws more reasonable. I know it's a loose and weird comparison, but it's still a somewhat accurate one though IMO. We must show that Google cannot do whatever they want to Youtube. Eventually they will completely destroy it if nobody cares about their changes! (of course like I said they MIGHT change it for the better in the future, but it sure as hell isn't looking like it right now!). I understand that some people LIKE what Google's done to Youtube, but those are the vast minority and they still shouldn't just simply instantly "approve" of everything Google throws at them even if they like it. ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. Still, that's assuming that it can get any worse. Which it won't, as there were CLEAR motives for integrating Google+. That helps increase their revenue. And they thought they were helping people with the sorting changes.
There would be no reason, socially or strategically, for them to do things like you mentioned. It won't get any worse than this, trust me. We'll see what happens, but I anticipate people eventually getting over it. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

Actually, they have every right to do whatever they want with YouTube. A government does not OWN a country, so they cannot do whatever they want with it, though sometimes it does happen. Google can do WHATEVER it feels like with YouTube. It can one day decide to make YouTube into a porn site, but you can't do anything, they own the website and the servers. In a country, its citizens cannot choose to live there or not, its now how it works really. But a website, people can choose if they want to visit it or not. Here's the good part. Google NEEDS people to visit YouTube to make profit. If people do not like something Google does, they will stop going to YouTube, therefore Google will notice that there is something wrong with the site because of revenue loss and they will change to improve the site. So what this means, is that Google is actually not doing ANYTHING wrong. They test everything and do everything so the majority of people will enjoy and/or find convenient. If Google notices that the majority of people aren't liking the changes, they will change back, because they do not want to lose visitors.
Therefore, if you really want to make Google change its mind, you won't get anything from a pathetic petition. You will most likely get Google's attention by not going to the site until you agree with Google's changes or reversal of changes. But not only you, every single person in that petition should not go to YouTube for 3 months, and lets add 4 million people to that number just to make it noticeable. Now Google will say "Hey, look, we're losing profit, lets see what is going on... OH, we are losing visitors. Alright. Lets change the site to whatever they want. There we go." and their views will skyrocket. Profit. But this will not happen. You people are lazy, you won't not go to YouTube for 3 months. You won't get 5 million people to not watch YouTube for 3 months. No one will. So really, it's your fault Google does what it does. You let them decide what you like and what you don't, just because you won't stop watching YouTube. What about me? Well, I don't mind what is being done with the site, in the contrary, I love how its being worked on all the time, it shows effort from Google's part to make the site as good and as profitable as it can be. So I will keep on watching YouTube until Google ever does a major screw-up and the site loses my interest. I hope all of you read all of this, since it took time to write. And remember, this is how business works, give the user what it wants, and you will make profit. |

A LOT of people think this about google+ so many even that this and this happened and the biggest petition is already over 100000 strong.
Might even be enough to actually change it back sooner or later... hopefully sooner. |

Rage is an irrational emotion used as a primordial "fight" trigger. Sorry to say, but you can't go and beat Google up, so rage is a most useless thing ATM. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

First. MKWy_hacker, having your text in caps changes nothing.
Second. wjg, did you even read my post? Petitions are useless. Third. Stygmax, I agree. |

Let's say caps mean I'm shouting. Willy Wonka was anyway.
And we can't just sit there and do nothing... So we rage. Yeah. ____________________ -Me: How about the number of sprites I hacked? -Vegeta: IT'S OVER NINE THOUSANDS!!!!! Look at my hack: Mega Super Mario Bros.(NSMB DS hack) |

You stop going to YouTube and tell everyone you know to do so too. That's what you do. |
