Think - we can also make planets look like this, they don't have to be the skinny kind connected like you'd normally think. Stuff like this is quite a nice shape for a planet, and we can even use collision to our advantage. Some atoms can be lava, some can be water that you can swim in, which might be an interesting challenge, etc.
