Hi, im new in the forums, so nice to know all people! i dont know if this is the correct section, i want to make a mario galaxy hack, i know that is possible to do galaxy hacks, but i want to know:
is possible to vertexed mario and change his textures to make a new model ( keep the rig )?? or import a new model rigged over him, i only want to do that haha, if its possible anyone have a link with the tutorial? Thks a lot, and sorry for the inconvenience, xaupz! |

Nope, as I said on your profile, you'd have to do vertex hacking manually since we don't have an importer that works with joints. You'd have to use an existing model and if it has a different number of joints which is almost guarenteed then you'd need to rework ALL of his animations. However there is tons of documentation for the format if you wanted to do it manually. And there's always pytex1 which allows you to create new textures by replacing the old ones. I can give you the program and tell you how if you wanted to change the textures, but that's as far as we've gotten xD ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |
