But isn't Toon Link appearing as a Stage feature in the 3DS Spirit Train stage?....

Also they revealed 2 characters in one month... Nice! And also they only revealed him because of WWHD. Now there's a 99% chance that they will announce a Pokemon newcomer or returning character for SSB4 on October 12th (the worldwide release of Pokemon X/Y). Yayyyy Toon Link is back! He was one of my mains in Brawl, glad to see him back! Although I'll be a Ness main, lol

Away from Smash 4 talk... I just remembered, I had a Brawl match like last month... Was like the best Ness vs. Lucas match ever. xD
Was done on wi-fi though, so expect some fails. :p (I know I missed a few opportunities to punish and I was stupidly hitting the air which is why I died 1st stock lol) Highlight of the match... 4:57. That was TOO good. But, it makes a character feel much less unique, you know. I just think clones are bad in the first place. Semi clones are OK, but legit clones just really feel like the developers are lazy.
And I do play Smash Bros Competitively. ____________________

To me, clones depend on the tier of the character that are based on. Sakurai doesn't intend for Smash to be competitive; his intentions of Smash are to make it so that you don't feel bad or remorseful over losing, but rather praise your opponent for putting up a good fight. It's not limited to only being a fighter. =P
Although you can still do these either competitively or casually. There's nothing wrong with either, it's just a matter of preference. I simply prefer competitive though, plus I like a good challenge. I've also made great friends from the Smash community, and made 2 best friends as well. I feel like I am where I belong, because of them. 
I never cared for tiers either; I play with the characters I love, regardless of their position on tier list. As for your 2nd sentence, Sakurai did say he'll try to balance out the characters, so hopefully there's no silly shenanigans with certain characters again. :p ____________________ Yo-YO, let's GO! That is just my view on clones. For the most part, it does not matter to me. I tend to use Kirby and Luigi a lot but I also use Snake a lot clones don't really bother me.
As for competive playing, I sometimes play competitively and casually. I play with friends and classmates like during special times at school but I also by myself. It sounds wierd, but I enjoy playing with two controllers such as a GameCube controller and a Wii Remote. To be honest, i'd rather have some of the clones back than new characters, why?
We have enough slots for the new characters that actually deserve slots. All of the Nintendo franchises i've grown up with are pretty much all in Smash now. I know some people are like "BRIGN SORA FROM KINGOM HEART!!@!@!!#" but to be honest I don't really care about any of those third parties. |
