Badword filters may also mess up words like Hitchcock and mass. I also cannot stand it when people get pissed at someone for saying a short badwors out of distress. Heck, it even applies to "G-rated" euphemisms and phrases such as "darn it" and "oh shoot".

I once said the word "glass" on a bad word-filtered Minecraft server and it corrected it to "gldonkey".

Reminds me of the wordfilters in some strategy games. It's annoying when they can't be turned off.

What is also annoying is that some seem to consider 'papa' a badword, when in French it means 'daddy'. They generally seem to filter regardless of the user's language...

Nobody ever said that about mine, despite the fact that's essentially what it is. Maybe because I actually modified the CSS myself after using the layout maker for the basics.

It is mot just with school. It also with holidays. Stores here in the US are now almost out of Halloween sruuf except for costumes as those come later. Stores also have Thansgiving and Christmas supllies out. All of this early selling is insanity! Not too mention Christmas music on the radio a week before Thanksgiving...
