It's not Drip Drop, it's just very similar. Say, is it possible in any way to assign a model and function to the SMG2 Super Mushroom? Not necessarily the growth, but just anything at all.

Not yet. Maybe by December

Well the unused area is an early version of Drip Drop. The unused area even features unicorn horns fully intact. In the final Bonefin and the final Drip Drop, the unicorn horns are the broken objects that release air bubbles.

Yeah, it is Drip Drop, you can find it in TearDropGalaxy's files, but Rean somehow added a zone.

Sorry for the bump, but Mega said it was okay.

WingBlockCoin is actually never used in the game and I tested it, works fine. I know it's not that big of a discovery but I though i'd mention it. Don't you love it when beta objects work exactly how they should? :)

They were used in SMG1; But unused in SMG2.

Also, add the fact that they only dismiss one coin.

.-.

They were not in SMG1 either.

"This object isn't used in the original game."

No winged blocks were in the original.

Huh. I thought there were.

My bad.
But still; They release one coin.

Actually, SMG2 used winged blocks (I believe in Clockwork Ruins).

That one released starbits, not coins.

Here's one: if you get the lilypad on land, it will keep going like it's on water.

I'll be messing around with SMG... once I get around to upgrading my system so I can actually test with Dolphin at full speed. Looks fun though, looking through the object database I had not realized these games were THAT complex under the hood!

That literally has nothing to do with this thread at all.

Anyways, There is a Launch Star in Honeyhive Galaxy in SMG1 right at the entrance, that is never used, nor does it even appear.

Wow, nice way to welcome a new contributor. That unused launch star sounds interesting though.

It seems to have been triggered by a switch. But it's ever activated.

Also, sorry about snapping at you. I'm in a bit of a trippy mood :P

No problem. :) You got me curious about this unused launch star now...

There's a bunch of stuff like that in the game. Like a blooper out of a treasure chest, but never activates.

Hmm... I don't have a Wii right now. And I won't anytime soon.

Where does the launch star's path lead?

It just goes backwards from where you start and you just die.

strange...
with that information known, it might by trying to send you to a planet that in the end was removed.
or it's an accidental placement like the drybones in the SMS-like galaxy.

It is strange indeed.

The layout of this is just like the launch star in Golden Leaf Galaxy.
