You all know them. Cheap little computers running on Atom processors with only a gigabyte of RAM. Thery're capable of regular browsing. You can't really do anything else with it besides browsing. Kinda like a Mac.
What are your opinions on them? Do you own one? What OS do you have on it? -Anthe ____________________ |

I dont own any, but they are very cheap nowadays, at just $200 each or less. I wouldnt buy one though, a laptop only made for browsing is not my thing, i do so many stuff on my pc that isnt browsing.
But if i had a netbook, id get a chromebook, its special os means that you can only use google chrome and the computer shouldnt go slow, and everything is online. Thats a good thing unless you live somewhere were there isnt any internet... |

Yeah, I really don't like Chromebooks. They aren't meant for people like us. Unlike a Mac, nobody writes software for it and it's all in-browser. Really suckish IMO. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

Chromebooks have the support of google, thats enough for me. But if someone asks me if i would buy a netbook or keep the money, id keep the money. |

After six months (or longer) I put a new OS on my netbook: easy peasy.
It's basically Ubuntu for netbooks. ____________________ |
