So, is this galaxy going to have multiple volcanos? If so, there could be a section where there are lava tunnels deep inderground. The walls and ceilings are made of obsidian. Maybe even have Swoopers down there too. But the point is that the lava tunnels connect the volcanos to each other.

Multiple volcanos and lava tunnels wouldn't be bad, but I think we are saving lava tunnels for Gliding Inferno

Since that may be the case, then it could be like in Melty Molten with all those Sling Stars. Then the final volcano has a Launch Star.

Does anyone remember the cutscene in SMG when Bowser's galaxy is destroyed? Just before the destruction Bowser is standing on his star. The surface of the star in the cutscene, I think, would be very cool for this galaxy. But if it isn't possible or anything I understand.

Floating rock platforms moving over lava should be possible. That might actually be a good idea to use.

People have been talking about Snakeblocks but floating rock platforms fit the lava theme better. Using height variation with with the floating rock platforms would be interesting to see.

It would be cool to have them sink into the lava when mario jumps on them like some of those cage platforms.

Someone commented on one of the SMG2.5 trailers that there should be a segment where Mario bounces on lava to vertically climb a lava tower up to a launch star. He would have to collect coins in the air in order to survive. Personally, I think it could work for a small segment of the level.

That's really bad game design in my honest opinion. You shouldn't have to get hurt in order to complete a level.

I don't like that for Whitehot. Maybe a small section in W7, but I'm not even sure about that.

there mightve been a green star in some bowser level that did that, but still

That was a Green Star so it doesn't really count as bad level design I guess.

I think clear volcanic glass would be good to put somewhere. possibly good to put inside the volcano or streaming out of it.
