Also, IMO Books 6-7 are shit. Book 6 is mainly angst and other boring crap, while the last book (though the battle was okay) bored my socks off, with all the action concentrated in that last part (and the epilogue...seriously, what)
Book 5 was pretty cool, though it does emphasize Dumbledore's being an asshole/idiot. Let's see, so anyone can enter anyone into the tournament thing. Age Line? No problem. Paper airplanes ftw.

Book 4 is the tournament, while Book 5 is the aftermath of Voldemort returning, with shit happening at the ministry and Hogwarts turning into a dictatorship by Dolores Umbridge. Books 6-7 were not crap. I actually really like them. The weakest, at least for me, would be book 2. But not by much. They are all great in their own ways.

Last view: 2199 days ago 		Book 1 was more family/kid friendly. I can see why you would say that. I do agree the later books (especially book 3/4) had better plots, but book 1 was good just for the sheer introductory material, in which the book served its purpose wonderfully.

Although something that always annoyed me is how that Hufflepuff immediately believes that Harry isn't turning anyone into stone went the Basilisk hits Hermione. How does he know that Harry doesn't secretely hate her and wanted her dead? -.-
