One word: NYNORSK! (Roughly translated to "New Norwegian". It's like a combination of Norwegian and Danish (at least that's what it sounds like to me), but it's also treated as an official language of Norway along with "Normal" Norwegian.
The main point why I hate it is because in School, we HAVE to learn it, we get tests of it and the grades for it count as much as all the others. The reason why this doesn't make sense is because only 10-15% of the population use it as their primary language and it's only spoken in some northern districs (and I live in the southern part of Norway). Basically NOBODY in my city, district or basically anywhere speaks it, so WHY THE FUCK DO WE HAVE TO LEARN IT??? I mean it's only spoken in 15% of the country, and since I live in the place completely opposite of those 15% I have no idea why the fuck I have to learn a language I'll probably never use and which is almost completely useless. And also it's really hard to learn it if you're norwegian since like I said it sounds like a combination of Norwegian and Danish (but it really isnt). This means that about half the Nynorsk words are identical to the normal norwegian versions, but this leads to horrible frustration as I get constantly confused about if a certain word sounds the same in Nynorsk as in Normal or if it's spelled differently. Honestly it would be easier to learn French or Spanish or something 
And oh yeah, I'm having a FINAL EXAM IN NYNORSK TOMORROW! (and that one exam will probably ruin my grades). Oh, and we almost never even learn about it too. He just gives us a wordlist and then we're supposed to learn it ourselves by buying and reading Nynorsk books, which is really hard considering like I said NOBODY SPEAKS OR WRITES FUCKING NYNORSK ANYWHERE NEAR WHERE I LIVE!!! ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. Quite strange that you are being forced to learn a useless language. Spanisg and French are some of the most spoken languages so those two would be very useful. Yeah that's sort of the problem. I guess it's because even though hardly nobody ever speaks it we still have to learn it since its a "official language"

..wow. That sucks.
One thing that annoys me is sometimes there is a really sudden rainstorm. I mean, it gives you about 20 second's warning to open the umbrella before you get soaked. :/ Luckily not too often. It's annoying when I'm walking home from where the school bus stops carrying my backpack and some extra stuff, then it starts chucking it down.
My exams are next Wednesday to the Wednesday after that (yay for the weekend between), 6 days with 3 topics each. Heh, for some reason, some schools only assess ONE topic per day for two weeks. Amusingly, that means in exams, their school days last about one hour. ____________________ Burrow Base design- Text complete. I might try my hand at some art...maybe...eventually...? Bullet Base design- Final Frontier- (collab) There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, it's usually an oncoming express train. Slow and steady gets you trampled by the other guys. |

I hate TV shows that aren't even entertaining (*cough* Disney *cough*). My brothers watch them, so I'm pretty much forced to listen to them. That is the main reason I don't watch TV anymore, except for the few shows I do like, such as Doctor Who. |

Have any of you ever thawed anything in the microwave like rock-hard ice cream and the food is still frozen, but the container or plate or whatver is extremely hot? Then you put it back in the microwave and the food is so frozen that you cannot remove it. The container becomes even hotter and the food is still frozen.

That usually means you're not using a proper microwave-proof plate.
