basically a database with info of all SMB's 256 worlds.


no enemies means no false bowser
world ? is a legit world but I don'k know it's number (unknown legit levels are ?-1, ?-2, ect)

Way 1: game genie

load SMB with game genie and enter code NNXAZZYE+GKISTVYN

Way 2: edited ROM

find a 256 world ROM hack

World 0

underwater 4-4 with no enemies.

World 1-8

Legit

World 9 and Left Side of Steep Mountain

first ?-1 underwater (titlescreens if mario swims too high), then 1-4 underwater with random koopas

World A, F, O, and White Square

It's a cloud bonus that's endless and underwater

World B and Top Left of Large Coin

It's an underground 3-4 with a few koopas at the start, but no enemies otherwise

World C

1-4 underwater, only enemies are a few koopas overhead at the start

World D, J, Y, Z, Top Right of Cloud, Top Left of Hit Block, and Top Right of Oval Cloud

3-4 underwater with no enemies

World E

starts over a pit. ? block and goomba seen

World G, Bue Square, and Bottom Right of Cloud

Lordy, that's long. Nice, I'd like to see someone expand the game with a level editor to be this big.

The code seems kinda useless IMO.
It just seems to scramble the levels order or point to areas where there is no level data; aswell as increasing the world number icon...

Dunno if it would be possible to have 256 worlds. Maybe 256 levels, but definitely not 256 worlds...(unless worlds are repeated atleast 10 times...)

Anyway, thanks for the database regarding the effects of the code.

no, it makes it instead of the world select ending at 8, ends at 255 and goes to 0.
