Why can't you? Maybe it should be a world long. I have ideas for the galaxies:
A food galaxy (Anything is good as long as it has a Dorito).
A ghost galaxy.
A maze galaxy.
A boss galaxy with Dry Bowser
A completely random galaxy.

I think I'm done.

Making extra galaxies is more work, SMG2.5 alone is already enough work for now.

We could do something like collecting discarded material to make mini hacks later on, though.

He probably used those three ideas so that it fits with the hack.

Something in the like of a "mini-hack" could be a minigame (not like Starball, The Chimp, bubble blowing, etc.) hacked into the game itself. SM64DS and NSMBDS had ninigames. I'm thinking our own version of Wii Play's Tanks but with a movable camera? Of course, that is easier said than done.

The Extra Levels board on the old site has entire pages of scrapped galaxies.

I understand because in NSMBW it's a lot easier because of the simpleness in Reggie.
