I'm picturing in my mind a bunch of clocks making a mushroom cloud. Just, no. The background should be lots of colorful molecules and giant clocks with fast hands that move to the beat |

noo..... Clocks should be clocks and molecules should be molecules. The level uses them together, not blend them into a jumbled mess that ends up looking terrible. This galaxy needs to be GOOD, and things like that will ruin it |

I think we're going a bit too overboard here. We don't need any complex things. This will be simply a clock based galaxy with atomic elements. Sure it's nice to have some real-life references and such (if you get what I mean), but this is a Mario game.
Also the idea of DNA and chromosomes here is pretty bad. We don't need to go that deep into the atomic matter.

Not to mention that genetics and atomics are some of the most different scientific categories imaginable. It would be utterly pointless to have DNA or chromosomes in this level. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

My point is if we have cells or Chromosomes, they wouldn't be too out of place. Remember atoms and molecules make up cells/DNA ____________________

well just to say, I never included anything about DNA and/or chromosomes in my design (Which is almost ready to be shown, but still not yet)
My design will have some plantes based on clocks, and some planets based on/which are molecules and Atoms. I never dove any deeper into atoms than atoms and molecules (or well maybe I have included a few deeper atomic references, but not really important ones or any which affect anything)  ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy.
