Post ideas and designs for Size Switchup Galaxy here. This galaxy is similar to the Tiny Huge island with a section of the galaxy being small and another being big and a section to get in between the two. Maybe each planet can have a switch that has a launch star appear on each version of the planet. So when something is too large on one version or too small on the other Mario can find the switch and go to the other planet to get past an obstacle.

This galaxy would be a good place to use the triple jump, since according to MrRean(HE SAID IT NOT ME), a triple jump allows you to get on top of a supermasssive block.

I don't understand this galaxy very much, is it going to take place on an island like Tiny Huge or like just a bunch of blocks everywhere like Super Massive.

It's not just BLOCKS like supermassive, that didn't look very pretty at all. It's basically a galaxy that shows off how we can scale things. Tiny and then huge objects, nothing to do with supermassive other then the fact that it is conceptualized off of it

(I too...That sounded weird 0.o)

But doesn't scale screw up collison?

Nope, not at all

Check out MrRean's cloudy heights video, he upscales a Piranha Plant and the collison stays the same. :P

Because he didn't change a setting.

ParamScale, it exists for a reason

It would be cool if you had to run from a giant flaptack in the big side of the level 0.o you'd have to be quick to not get hit by his giant spike.

I think we should take a page from SM64 and make it a tiny/huge solar system, but take it to a new extreme in terms of the scale difference. It's a bunch of tiny planets, but when you go into a pipe, you come out so tiny that there you can't even see the tops of grass. Most of the enemies would be bugs, I think. We could even have many varying sizes that you become.

O.o That would be a lot like that one part in Okami where Amaterasu becomes Issun's size, and Issun is so small that most people think he is a bug.
Which, I thought that part was really cool, they had feet stepping, and other stuff.

hmm...So tiny that you wouldn't see the top of the grass? Sounds like you could get lost easily there O.o

That's the point, though obviously we would put some border at the very least
