I guess it's all up to whoever is making the galaxy, whatever needs to be added for aesthetics. I do think that would be a nice touch though.

Their is a special level in SM3DL where

there is an elevator ride. The elevator is made up of individual yellow platforms. As you go up, some the platforms stop moving but the others keep moving up
. I think a section of the tower should be similar to that, but with more variety and a few more traps.

Perhaps all the "moving" staircases and stuff could be inside, while the "rickety" staircases would be outside in the rain.
Snake blocks aren't good. They wouldn't come back down if Mario fell off.
The threats outside would be spikes and holes, while inside it would be enemies.

Hey, if Giga Lakitu isn't going to be used, maybe he could pop out in a section of the tower with a long series of wide fire-escape staircases, throwing spinies at the staircase. :P It would certainly be typical of BJ. The tower + staircase is round...and it really suits him. Heh. :D

Giga Lakitu is possible but the "boss thing" could get in the way. The rickety fire escape is outside, but I think think there shouldn't only be a moving staircase inside. Since it is Tremblinh Tower, there should also be traps like a floor with rotating pieces.

What boss thing? He would just be an invincible extra hazard for a part of the level. (No Yoshi.)

Nevermind the boss issue.

Here are more traps:

A door full of Dry Bones that opens if you go near it
A Tox Box with a very extensive path (it has 15 different "falls")
Goombeetles that appear all of a sudden in a circle around you when go to the middle of a floor

Is the Giga Lakitu thing possible?

If we make him bigger, since he's meant to throw in a circle defined area, and since the tower is round, it'll work.

Is it possible to actually make the Spiny Shells he throws at you home in near you? Sort of like the Missile Bill-like Bullet Bills and the Targeting Ted-like Torpedo Teds but they don't follow you around.

Well, I was thinking to have Giga Lakitu be near a more...gradual and less broken part of the staircase with actually working railings.
Would the spinies bounce off the tower, and how far...? That's apparantly the only issue. :D

It'd be great having a "miniboss" of sorts.

The railings should prevent the Spiny Shells from falling off. Also, I am not entirely how complicated the whole duplication process is.
