it opens now but a command prompt-like window opens for 1/2 a second and then closes when I run whitehole.exe.

why?

The launcher won't start because it was compiled with VC++ 2010, and requires the associated runtime which is too recent to be provided with most OSes.

Intelligence by Microsoft.


In the meantime, just launch the .jar directly. I might get around making a decent launcher someday.
