Everyone I'm gonna buy a PS3 this week!
The reason is because that way I have more varied gaming options and I can buy some (few) PS3 exclusive games which I actually want to play. Oh, and it's (sort of) cheap now, but still pretty expensive. (Costs twice as much as a Wii, but the Wiis here aren't even twice as expensive as the most expensive Wii games.) But the biggest reason is because everyone else in School has one (or a Xbox, but I'll never buy that), and I would like to play with them too 
However don't think I like Nintendo any less because of this. The PS4 will be revealed tomorrow. 1: You cant't say that the PS4 controller will be a Wii U controller. The thing is, they might not do it. A controller PROTOTYPE came out with a tiny screen (should be 5cm x 2cm) just to replace the start and select buttons. BESIDES, it wasn't confirmed AT ALL. Not even close to confirmed. 2: They'll try to not make it expensive. Its supposed to be around $500, which is double what you would pay for the PS3 now. But the PS4 will likely last you 6 more years, and the PS3 will last you less than 1 year now. 3: They'll get it eventually. They might not get it, but in less than 2 years, you'll see them all with their PS4s, and you'll be sad that you bought a PS3 just because they chenged their mind in the last second. 4: The PS4 and the XBOX 720 will surpass Wii U's specs by A LOT. For example. The PS4 and the XBOX have been rumored to have 4 dual core CPU's at 2GHz each (16GHz in total!), 8GB of RAM, and 2GB or video memory. The Wii U has a tri core processor at 1.7GHz (That's 5.1 GHz in total), 2GB of RAM and the video memory is shared with the RAM. So the Wii U will probably will be outdated in less than a year. So the Wii U had about 1 year. LOL. 5. The PS4 will be revealed tomorrow! February 20th. So you should look at it, and see if your interested. Believe me, games will not be made anymore for PS3 in 1 year. So buying one now is a bad idea. 6. You might not care now, you might wanna buy it and get it over with. But trust me, it'll be worth while. At least wait till tomorrow and see what the PS4 will hold. EDIT: I wont buy a PS4. I am making my own PC now, but if I had a choice between a PS3 and a PS4, I'd wait for the PS4. |

The PS4 is rumored to have the Omniviewer which is like the Oculus Rift.
EDIT: I remember one time on the comments section of an IGN article an Apple fanboy said the the iPad has male genitalia and that it will "sex wiu u xbox 360 ps3". He also said that the "wiu u xbox 360 ps3 verry stuopid". Hmm. I watched Sony's PS4 Press Conference, and I can't say I'm impressed with the PS4 so far.
The controller looks better than the PS3 one (special praise to the Joysticks), but the controller seems too heavy. Also from what I've heard there's nothing really new about the PS4 except for better graphics, more power and some additional features. It isn't even BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE! (Which every console so far since the GCN has been.)

Ok, i also watched it:
The specs did not really impress me. The 8 core cpu was nice. The 8gb of ram was ok too. I was expecting more from the graphics card though. REALLY? 7680 LEVEL? REALLY! Anyway, killzone looked good, but nothing really different. |

I heard rumors that the next Xbox will ALWAYS REQUIRE A STABLE INTERNET CONNECTION to play.
