Because someone starts getting mad when a program is an exe and they can't run it on a mac. And they ask for a Mac version blargh. That's why I use PC :3

And this is not starting drama, settle down.

At least people have a computer. Think about the people who don't have computers.

Also, I just updated my NVDIA graphics card. It works a lot better nao :3

^ Dunno if that was on topic or what.
If not, btt

I respect them for at least having a computer, I just don't understand why they spent more money to get a Mac.

Aren't macs sometimes a bit cheaper?

The main reason I like macs is because everything looks sleek. IMO, Windows computers look like giant bricks, just like Internet Explorer's interface :3

Exactly. Windows 7 actually looked about 10x better than Windows 8, which is what I currently have running on another desktop window.

Functionality is more important than look, though.

This is why this board doesn't have shitloads of silly icons and graphics like the old board had.

Windows 7 functions better and looks better than Windows 8.

In my opinion after using windows 8 for months as my primary OS and windows 7 as my previous os for 3 years, i feel windows 8 is much faster, and you guys wont believe me, but it runs smoother on my pc. It may be because windows 8 is more graphic reliant. Aside from being faster, windows 8 does not look much better, but it does change quite a bit from the traditional windows. At first windows 8 is tough to work with, but after a month i found myself working with the start menu very easily and quickly.
So my stance on OS? Windows 8 is a nice upgrade, but not worth it if you have a tablet. But dont avoid buying a pc that comes with windows 8 just because of its OS. I still hate Macs though lol.

PS: all in one pcs look just like imacs, so you cant complain.

I don't really like the way Windows 8 looks, and you're right, it does look complicated and tough to work with. Plus IDK how I would get it in the first place.

I'm not planning to buy Windows 8 at all, but if I do, I'm only going to be using Desktop mode with a hack to re-enable the Start Menu. I don't even know what Microsoft was thinking when they decided to drastically change the GUI.

I do actually like the look of Windows 8 a lot. I always found Windows 7 pretty ugly.
But look is one thing, functionality is more important, and that's where there's a problem in Windows 8.
Sure, it's functional, but it's a bit too cryptic in my opinion.
For instance, how am I supposed to know that I move the mouse up to the top left corner of the screen to list the running Metro apps? I discovered someething like this which should be obvious by complete accident.
Move the mouse to the top and drag down to close a window... How am I supposed to know this? I think I actually used Google to find out.

But anyway, I do want to try out Windows 8/RT on a tablet. Perhaps it'd work better.

Or you could use Linux and have both.

Oh good, i found this bundle with all the components to make a PC. It has a dual core i3 processor (good enough for me), a good power supply, a good motherboard that supports sata3 and usb3.0 and the best part is the graphics card. Its a nvidia geforce gtx 650 ti, its not the BEST but its good enough to run every modern game smoothly.

I have been thinking, and i dont know if i should get the Ati radeon hd 7850 instead of the nvidia gtx 650 ti.
