Gilmaster63 also does not want references to real wars especially WWII. I used a WWI reference as a replacement. Also, Mario has to make the Topmen fail, so a failed war offensive would fit because Mario always wins if you beat the game.

Anyway I have an idea: Maybe we can include a small beach (or just simply sand) in this galaxy and recolor all the sand black? Today I was on a beach close to a real active volcano, and the sand there was pitch-black (and YES its been confirmed that it's SAND, not Ash).

This sounds like it would make a cool real life reference :3
What about ferric (red) sand? Rusted metal is brittle and will mix with sand.

The ferric sand should appear in patches around rusted metal. Most of the sand should be regular sand if it dies not surround rusted metal.
