Yes, but I'm looking at some intro cameras and they have 2 shots. How would that switch happen? It has to have some way to load the new coordinates for the camera for the second shot.
The main part of the file isn't nearly long enough from what you're showing to have just enough room for coordinates

Maybe movements and angles?

I still wonder if you can just make a still shot with no movement.

Pretty sure you can.

Yes, I'm looking at that now. Let me make a redefinition:

Keyframe:
0x00 time
0x04 initial_value
0x08 velocity

It seems there is no automatic transitioning between keyframes, instead, transitions are done through using the velocity value to move the value to where the next keyframe's initial_value is.

The top part of the file (0x20 to 0x80) just contains indexers. Use the indexers to find the keyframe values in the float table at 0x80.

you can, it's the same idea as mrrean's "motion cameras" (hate that term)
Just make it so it doesn't move
Also, hmm, that still seems very confusing.

I've made a small app for editing the keyed cameras. It's just a basic implementation, so don't expect anything fancy.

That's awesome Phantom Wings, how do you use it?

Extract the camera animation (.canm) files from any of the GalaxyZone.arc files and open them using the program. Details on the data is in the earlier posts of this thread.

I've added the source code download to the post above.

Nice job! I'm going to try this out after school :)
Edit:

Amazing. It sort of works just like paths (The points)

It needs some work though. The camera acted choppy and the choppyness is the only time it moved.
