Alrighty guys, I'm pretty sure you're expecting images of me moving bosses to other galaxies like an awesome person.

That's not happening.
Upsettingly, it is not exactly possible to move a boss to another galaxy. Because for some reason, when you edit the file, the memory corrupts after you save it. (Does the same thing with the bcsv editor)
The file in question is called GalaxyWhateverDerpNameZoneInfo.arc
It contains the cutscenes if it does NOT use a DemoGroup. Upsettingly, it corrupts after saving.
Renaming others doesn't work.
Deleting others doesn't work.
Nothing works as soon as you save the file.
So yeah, Nintendo is a prick. :P

We will figure out how to resolve this situation soon...because we ain't gettin' anywhere.

So yeah, thanks for reading this failure.

It's more-so the tools. InB4 programmers flocking to debug and disassemble it because MrRean failed.
However, just because it isn't working for you doesn't mean it won't work. We still need to figure out what is wrong. I bet it's an infinite loop in MN1's BCSV editor because of the Japanese. I would try using the Whitehole BCSV editor for now.

Well sure, I guess I can take a crack at that BCSV editor to see what happens to the file. But the memory corrupts in MN1's and Anarchy....

What?! I just do not understand. Why can't we do things that Nintendo does? If Nintendo can do it, someone expert in hacking and programming should be able to do whatever. Nintendo obviously made it on purpose so that hacks will not have bosses in other galaxies.

It's the way it's saved. It just corrupts the memory somehow.

Grr. There is probably a boundary somewhere in the coding that will need to edited to prevent data corruption.

Anarchy is corrupting the object count value inside the bcsv. If you set the first 4 bytes of the file to whatever the original number of objects inside the bcsv was then you should be fine. The Anarchy2 library's archive reader and bcsv editor don't corrupt bcsv data, so you could consider using them instead.

Not all bosses have a Demo Group ID just to let you know. An example is Kaliente.

That doesn't matter, actually. Something else is needed to move a boss, and it corrupts, as I've said :P

Blarg, I successfully moved Kaliente to flipswap, it wasn't that hard. :/

But why did you move him into that galaxy? It kinda seems out of place tbh

._.

Why CAN'T he move King Kaliente to Flipswap?

Everything works with Flip-Swap, THAT'S WHY

I can just be nitpicky sometimes. If you were testing something, then it would be fine. Just my logic is getting the better of me:/

So, only in Flip-Swap the data will not corrupt if you move a boss there?

The ZoneInfo that MrRean was obsessing about has no real purpose other then a guide to developers. This thread can be safely closed and ignored.
