The popular request seems to be re-instrumentation of the "Flare" theme so... I'll do that first.


EDIT: Finished that redux of Flare. Comments are appreciated. Please tell me what needs improving :3

Last view: 144 days ago 		I like the one from your first edit. It sounds kinda weird with my crappy cheap headphones, but using my earbuds with awesome bass, I think it's great. Would it be possible to remake the frost theme in the same way? I would like to see what that sounds like. I wouldn't make the frost theme TOO complex though, ice is supposed to be more mellow in general with its nature. So frost should be more peaceful.

Last view: 2580 days ago 		Yeah, there was a bit of feedback from the amount of plate reverb on the flute part xD I'll try and take that down and stop it clipping :3

To be honest with you NWP, I don't think the Frost theme needs remaking, but hey I'll give it a shot :P The worst that can happen is that it sounds terrible.

Last view: 2580 days ago 		Well... I didn't mean completely re-make :P I sometimes get the two mixed up, they're pretty similar :3 I'll try and get the ice one in the same style as fire for ya NWP but I can't really promise anything.

As a side-note, I've fixed the clipping issue and I'll upload it tomorrow (because I am super tired right now :P)

Last view: 1089 days ago 		After giving them a second listen, they sound much better. The lava track is great. But I do feel that the ice track could use a little more, especially at the beginning. Possibly reverb, or bells/mallets. Some SFX might not be a bad idea either. And the combined version is broken:/

Last view: 1089 days ago 		I actually agree. The intros are the weakest part of both, but once the melody kicks in, everything gets better. Maybe you could swap out the synth sound for another... you have soundcloud, so having multiple drafts shouldn't be an issue. I do see tons of potential in these songs though!
