It has been said that Kuribo64 would take the necessary measures to prevent drama from happening. Efficient moderation sure is one thing, but it's not enough. What has to be done is spotting the drama sources and shutting them.

As Dirbaio pointed out, jobs are one of those drama sources. They're supposed to make the team more organized, but actually they bring several disadvantages:

1. They really make SMG2.5 feel like some kind of profession, which is wrong. SMG2.5 is a hobby project, people willing to contribute shouldn't feel like they're applying for a real life job.

2. They're a source of drama. People begging for jobs, people who don't do anything other than brag about their job, fights over whether person X should be given job Y or not...

For less drama and more efficiency in the SMG2.5 team, jobs will be removed. SMG2.5 will be an united team where everyone contributes the most they can.

And I can hear you, what about credits? Don't worry about this. There's a long way to go before SMG2.5 is finished, you'll have the time to think about credits.

That's nice, so some drama will fade :)

I can't post in some boards because my 'power is too low' now.

It wasn't like this before. IDK where else to put this besides the ancient help board.
Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

Are you talking about the jobs board? It's done on purpose. Jobs are being removed because they're nothing more than a source of drama.

This is great. Only Administrators and Moderators should have "real" power. Jobs just made people "special" as they could view exclusive boards. I only had a job as an Announcer once on Super Mario Sunshine Discussion snd Hacking, but I lost it due to my inacivity. No hard feelings to GoombaG.

I admit. I may be active for one day more. I may also even be inactive for less than one year! I do not confirm this. I am only highlighting the possibility. It is just that being inactive for more than a year just makes you feel very joyful when you come back. Back to topic, jobs just made people "a moderator without being a moderator" in my point of view.

This. Exactly this. If there were jobs, I bet somebody would start bragging about it to normal users and acting superior.
