Come on, normal ships are boring and dumb.

Yes, however you are only one person in the democracy that is SMG2.5, and most of us agree it should be something new.

...I don't quite get this.
Airships were the most common...any other kind of ship was kinda rare.
I'd like it to be more like the Dreadnought. Giant freaking ship right there.

*Cough*GiantShipInFleetGlide*

Maybe one of the giant ships could be like the one in fleet glide, with a row of giant Banzai Bill lauchers

We could possibly incorporate the gravigen concept into this galaxy. Bowser is here for a reason. However, using gravigen here means we will need redesigned ships, to incorporate it into the design. Think futuristic possibly for the look. mini pipes and connectors transporting gravigen to power the things.

For clarity, what exactly IS gravigen and how is it important?

I've been wondering the same thing. I've seen it a few times, but I have no clue what it is about. And how does it relate to Gravigen Extractor?

Gravigen is basically what Bowser is using to do his evil work with making galaxies and such. It'll most likely be introduced in world 2 with the bowser galaxy. It fuels everything and has lots of uses.

He sucks out the gravigen out of planets and uses that power to make his own galaxies.

So gravigen is what creates gravity, and Bowser has harnessed it and is using it to his advantage...that sounds like fun >83

I have no clue why you would want to use airships. These aren't Bowser's fleets we're dealing with here, it's either topmen or some aliens we never see. Just like dreadnaught or battlerock.

What airships? When I was posting ideas for this one, I was thinking of something like, 2 enormous dreadnoughts blasting vast amounts of various kinds of ammo at each other, in the process warping and destroying a small planet in the middle until it became a wasteland of meteors and dark matter/gravigen.

"...the first half of the first star being a Battlerock-esque ride through a barrage, except longer, with the need to switch platforms, a larger variety in cannonballs, and generally harder, with more hazards. And the second half being a hunt for Gearmos/star bunnies/star chips on a blasted, warped, and nearly-destroyed planet."

Too many stereotypical spaceships. Let the spaceships be giant vacuum cleaners and flatscreen TV's. We need the planets to be made of carpet with burn marks from previous shells. There should be a trash can as part of the bottom of the background like the warp pipe at the bottom of the backgrounds of some FLUDD-less secret stages in Super Mario Sunshine. That, my friends, is an original idea for warped warzone.

....it's original I suppose. But I'd rather this galaxy have an 'epic space battle' feel than a 'Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars' feel :P

Then let's have Whittles (and Mario) fight "The CD", a mysterious splinter cell of unknown, unseen beings said to be associated with the Shiverburn HellValleySkyTree People, Super Mario 3D Land 1-3 UFO, and SM3DL 4-4 Ghost House Boo Shy Guy Face. I am being 100% serious. That would be a nice side-story.
