Even though MG3 posted an incredibly amazing song for Dry Boneyard and possibly this galaxy too (No it's not sarcasm. I love MG3's song  ), I can't NOT suggest this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unVs7vVIDic&list=LL__1xlKBM1eP5ehpt_OrLTQ
It's a very good haunted theme and it sounds like it would fit very well in a SMG Galaxy (but I'll have to admit. A tiny bit of the song doesn't fit SMG at all). In addition it helps that it's basically a combination of SMG1's Ghostly Galaxy music and SMG2's Haunty Hills Galaxy (although that one was a remix of the SMW Ghost theme). It's like the beta SMG2/Hopefully Astral Stronghold music: It combines SMG1 with SMG2
However while I'm sure we're probably not going to use this I just wanted to put it here just in case

I have mixed feelings for that. While I think some parts are like made for this galaxy and sound great, some parts are also VERY unfitting and sort of ruin the feel to me (specifically the part from 0:45 to 1:25). For some reason I think that part sounds too different from the other parts of the music and it sort of removes the great atmosphere that the beginning of the song created.
I'm actually against using it as-is. It should either be changed a bit or we should use another song (like MG3's or the song I suggested).
But then again this is just me, and I don't really have that much experience when it comes to COMPOSING music (PLAYING it though is a different matter. I can play 2 instruments flawlessly ). I agree with MM720. The melody is fine but parts of it don't fit the ghostly feel of the galaxy. I think someone should either remake it, or we use a different theme altogether (ie: one of MG3 or Agent's pieces) |

Well galaxies like this aren't supposed to be super spooky, like freak-you-out spooky, something like the ones that were in SMG1/2. I do agree that it could use a remake to fit better, but overall it personifies spooky in a mario game, particularly galaxy.

This is the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. It reminds me of the Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon main theme. This song definitely does mot fit in Dry Boneyard. But hey, don't ghosts celebrate Christmas too?
