What's the 30% that I'm missing out on?
skins?
capes?
being able to connect to a larger amount of servers?

Non of those seem important to me.

The best part of minecraft is playing with other people, single player can be fun too but multiplayer is the best

"Offline" Minecraft clients are always able to connect to "Offline" Minecraft servers, you are only offline when your login is bad, or just cracked.

As Rean said, such version is the complete thing (which I also have :3), so I think im not missing anything :P

Also it depends on what servers you enter, which they are many that accept cracked versions.

The thing is that the $27 it takes to buy the game......

...

I...
got nothing.

Ah... You probably never played on a big server. Or you probably never played a mod pack. All these things that you are missing might seem meaningless, but when you actually play, its awesome. For example, i dont play vanilla minecraft for a long time, since other mod packs are takig more of my time.

The thing is, mods also work with a cracked minecraft :P

So I guess he hasn't checked them out.

No, I have Tehnic has a cracked version, and the Xethon server network [my favorite server] is a cracked server that has servers dedicated to: MineZ, Factions, Prison, Minigames [like spleff and hunger games], Creative and Russian warfare.

so, yeah. That's a pretty big server network.

Exactly, I think it's much better to just support Mojang and get the real Minecraft than some knockoff version that only works when it wants too.

Yeah, its $30, but its worth every penny. Think of doing the right thing, not just what is convenient and illegal.

So we aren't paying just because mojang has enough money? ....sorry but that sounds kind of silly

Who cares, when something is released and it need to be purchased, people will get around it.

The company just has to deal with it.
