Actually, the Wii U and PS4 are currently tied. And I think this is mainly because we're comparing the abilities of the consoles, instead of the games on them. If we were taking the games into account, then Nintendo would most likely win.

Do you even know all the exclusives Sony has?

My point is, on a website based on Nintendo games, if games were taken into account in this poll, then the Nintendo would probably be winning by a lot.

Yes Dego, which is the problem I have with this poll. While I acknowledge the technical superiority of the PS4, I will probably not buy it, because it does not play the games that I enjoy. This console and games together determine how well the console will do, not just one of them.

I agree. But as of right now, the Wii U is lacking that "Killer" app that most other consoles have. The N64 had SM64/OoT/MM (NOT Mega-Mario_ , the GC (Gamecube) had SMS, and SSBM. The Wii had SMG, SMG2, and Brawl. The DS had NSMB and MKDS. the 3ds has SM3DL, LMDM, FEA, Animal Crossing, and MK7. The Wii U doesn't have anything yet.

I think what you mean is that the wii u doesnt have anything innovative yet

That was easier for the ds and wii because of the console's gimmicks, while the gc simply had tons of great games.

Wii U may have to take the gc route (thats not a bad thing)

Not a bad thing at all. I just think Nintendo is stuck between the 2 routes. Games like Nintendo Land are very gimmicky, while other games like Lego City Undercover are more about gameplay.

I think that the video game industry has hit a point where graphics and power matter much less than in the era when having a "16-bit" console over an "8-bit" console meant better and more appealing games. HD is all basically the same past 1080p, and I picked Wii U because of how I prefer its games and how I think the execution is just handled better overall. It's a big achievement for Nintendo. (Speaking of which, an achievement system and group chat are two of the only things that they didn't include.)

What I said might begin to apply in, maybe, the ninth or tenth-gen consoles. But I'll take your word for it in saying there are some ridiculously resource-heavy games out there as of the eighth gen.

Wii U has a lot of potential Nintendo exclusives going for it, but Ninty hasn't seemed to have taken many opportunities yet. Objectively speaking, Sony definitely had a better E3 presentation, and unless Nintendo steps up its game, takes more risks, and announces some exciting games, the PS4 will probably come out on top this time around.

I swear I saw 40% of Youtube being PS4 E3, 40% Microsoft and less than 20% Nintendo. Sure, Nintendo didnt show off a new console, but still, Nintendo didnt get a lot of attention this year.

PS4 got alot of attention because it's the best console and had the best presentation.

Xbox One got alot of attention because of how everyone hates it

Wii U got little attention because tbh nobody cares for it this year. The little attention it got was probably because of SSB4 alone
