I liked Double Dash Fireball item better than MK7's Fire Flower. Well, having a homing missile section in one of the races would not be bad, it would just have to be so the track is wide enough were you can dodge them  ____________________

Well, at least for me, the heart kinda sucked.
And you are right about the Giant Banana! It was a hilarious addition to DD when you put it on Rainbow Road or DK Mountain. ____________________

The heart made you invincible to most items I believe and you could steal other people's items by making contact with them.

That is still no reason of why MKDD items should make a return  . Since carts are single-person, you can be greedy with the Heart  . Another broken item from Double Dash (that was fixed) was the golden mushroom. Remember the good old days where mushroom boosts actually MEANT something? I kinda wish MK8 would bring back the big boosts of Double Dash, but also shorten the Golden Mushroom's time limit. ____________________

The golden mushroom was pretty fun to use, and yeah. I liked the items in Double Dash way more than the ones in MKW. ____________________

You know the reason why they removed all the special items, right? It was because it took forever to balance DD, and some of the items are still not fully balanced. But I will say, they were an absolute blast to use. And it was awesome when King Boo/Petey Piranha got every special item.
Another thing, I think King Boo's appearance in this game should be that of LM/LM2. Not the normal Spin-off King Boo. ____________________

I think the shadow-shell (acts like a green shell, only when it hits you, you turn black and fall into an abyss) would be an interesting edition

And also why the FUCK wasn't the "Boo House" course shown in the Demo a Luigi's Mansion 2 course instead. I mean it already looks to much like Gloomy Manor, so why couldn't they just edit it a bit more and change the name to "Gloomy Manor" or something LM related. Y'know for me, names play a big role. For example, if the MKDS "Luigi's Mansion" course was officially named "Ghost House" by Nintendo (even tho its obviously Luigi's Mansion), I would dislike that track much more. IF YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A GREAT REFERENCE TO ANOTHER GAME, DO NOT WASTE THE OPPORTUNITY NINTENDO!!!!
Buut at least I know that it's the earliest beta, which can always be changed (although they rarely change beta Demo MK tracks alot, shown if you compare the beta Mario Circuit, DK Jungle and Cheep Cheep Lagoon from MK7 with their final versions. The MKDS course was still named Luigi's Mansion, at least for me.
And King Boo's appearance is badass in the LM games, but the spin-off King Boo is just a normal boo with a crappy crown... that's it ____________________

Very. I am beginning to think that he doesn't work for Bowser anymore!
But for MK8, I really hope they remove the time limit for balloon battle. That pretty much ruined the entire mode for me. ____________________
