Since the test of bouncy snakeblocks was successful, I think it should be time we try another test - and this one is actually incorporated into one of my designs. The idea is having retextured snakeblocks to look like they're frozen. But they would actually have the properties of ice - and be slippery. Since Glem did an amazing job with bouncy snakeblocks, this would be a great next logical step!

What do you mean have the properties of ice? Do you mean that they'd melt when shot with a fireball or something? .-.

No, just like having an icy surface on the snakeblocks. I don't think fireballs can melt normal ice, only certain icy objects. Icy properties would be slipping, and skating.

I see that now:P. But still, they have yet to be retextured.

EDIT: Sorry for jumping the gun on this thread. If it is trashed, its fine. I should have saved this discussion in the other thread.

They aren't retextured because they aren't their own object yet. Once that happens I can easily work my magic :P

Didn't MN1 figure out how to duplicate objects like that?

He did, and he was working on it earlier. There's still work he needs to do to duplicate it :P
It's not simple magic, like poof it's done

I really like the Icy Snakeblocks idea, mostly because they have already appeared in an official Mario game, namely NSMBW. They'd also open up several level design possibilities.

Actually, it would be best to just make a new general "Snakeblock" thread.
There've been ideas about bouncy, icy, firey, shocking, honey, and mud/tar Snakeblocks, so I think it's justified.
This is an idea that's actually practical and useful. Not too many concepts like that.
