The Super Nintendo...plenty of high-quality games, not just from Nintendo, but plenty of other developers...Capcom, and Konami being the third-party front runners, on the SNES.

It also helps that the SNES was the console I grew up on.

Because they were all third party :P The first party games on the Wii were really good. All the third party stuff was terrible.

Thats the thing. The quality of games has to go up. I'd say that ps3 and xbox quality including first and third party were about 30% while wii's was about 20%

Actually the only thing people really played on Xbox and PS3 were COD and Battlefield and 3rd Party stuff like that.

Derp. They both have such great games, such as: uncharted, halo, littlebigplanet, fable, gears of war, forza, gran turismo, and other games, for example the game that got so many awards, last of us, its a ps3 exclusive and its awesome.

Thats the thing. People start saying untrue and ignorant thigs when they dont know what they are talking about.
For example: Actually the only thing people really played on Xbox and PS3 were COD and Battlefield and 3rd Party stuff like that.

Thats why i had to pull out the list of games.

Last of Us is amazing. One of the best games made in this generation. It can get pretty ridiculoudly difficult though.

I said GCN. Best games ever were produced on that system.

Also, that reminds me. Let me crack out that system. :3

A very hard decision, but I vote GameCube.

Ikr, really stupid.
What is even more stupid is that the wii u has to go to tge wii menu in order to play wii games.

GameCube games will be offered through Virtual Console and going to the Wii Menu is not that bad. At least it is backwards compatible with the Wii.

Now they will charge you for games you have in a disc at home.
Nintendo is turning into SONY and Microsoft! :O

Some people dont have those discs :P
Also, if you had them, perhaps you also have a way to play them elsewhere than the wii U :P

yea... I don't. my wii broke and so I can't play GCN games anymore.

interesting fact: the N64 was 64bit, the GameCube was 64bit and the Wii was 32bit.
yep, they went backwards.

Here's an interesting fact: That is completely untrue.

The N64 was 64-bit. Got that right.

Wii and GameCube don't have "bits" at all. The performance is measured in MegaHertz. The "bit" architecture was abandoned after the N64. The GameCube was 162 MHz, and the Wii was approximately 243 MHz, although the exact clock rate was never confirmed by Nintendo.

Nowhere does it say that the Wii is 32-bit. Even if it did, it would be wrong. We here are experienced with the Wii's architecture and capabilities. The Wii's power is around 243 MHz. The PROCESSOR is 32-bit, but the console is not. It's pretty obvious that the graphics and performance are not 32-bit. It's 243 MHz.
