Since this is finalized, I should probably make some art at some point for a modeler. Speaking of which, do I have any takers for modeling? This probably won't be worked on for a while, but if anyone wants to try it after I've made some art go ahead

Planets 1 & 3 looks pretty good!
Planet 2 looks a bit plain though...was there a gimmick to make it more interesting? If not, oh well.

Planet 3 + purple coins + flash black + cosmic clones...EPIC. :D

That sounds like something satan would be willing CONSIDERING making, and only Chuck Norris would manage to complete that (WITHOUT spending 24 hours trying and wailing in pain). I think that would be a bit too much. Either the Cosmic Clones or Flash Black effect would need to be removed if it would be acceptable difficuly (and again even that sounds really hard. Also if we'd take away the clones then obviously we'd need a time limit too).

Buuut anyway MC great art! I hope for the art I'll make for my future AC design to be just as good (or better) :3

Actually I like the idea. This is world 7 after all, and we're gonna make the whole world insane, not just the very last mission like Nintendo did.

Well sure it needs to be difficult, but we're not gonna make like every mission in world 7 "The Perfect Run" difficult or anything (or are we? If so I never heard of that until now :O That would also mean that my Atomic Clock design urgently needs a difficuly spike :3)

Challenge is OK, and I agree with very hard levels, but what gc said is.... too extreme.

However if we ARE going to have such difficult levels then I suggest also adding a time limit to gc's idea (because if we're gonna make it that hard we might as well just do overkill XD)

I understand the difficulty concern, but this IS w7, and we can easily test it as it is and take things out later

And the purple coin mission will be timed

Edit: Also, MM720, am I making the AC art? Because if so, that's awesome!

Looks nice! Melty Monster had rolling thingies in the lava so I would believe a rolling log is possible. Also, are falling playforms supposed to be affected by the Flash-Black mechanic? Remember that the yellow moving platforms weren't. But, we can make them be affected anyway.

No. Sorry for misinterpretating my comment. Now that I do look at it It did sound wrong.
I meant that I hoped that my upcoming art will be as good as your art generally :3

However if my art turns out to be really bad you can try drawing it yourself maybe or something ;)

Well, perhaps the cosmic clones over the time limit. Time limits aren't as fun.

Perhaps Planet 2 could use a gimmick.

oke mabey you need to do the white stips with a texture, like they did in mario kart. otherwise you use a ton of polygons.

Well first of all, please post pictures so everyone can see.

As for the model...the tops of the mushrooms don't really look like tops of mushrooms, they just look like compressed spheres. The log is literally just a cylinder (or is it just not finished yet?) I'm fairly sure the mushrooms are supposed to be a lot taller than that. And like jess said, everything is pretty high-poly when it probably doesn't need to be.
