That looks really cool, I do enjoy vanilla levels (or tracks in this case).
What tools might I ask did you use for the texture mapping?

Wow, this is actually a pretty cool idea.
Looks nice for a first cup track.

Perhaps a bit empty on the BG, but you can always add more decoration later.

I agree, it actually looks really fun to race on. (I say actually because usually I don't really care for MKDS.)


Thank you :D. I totally agree with the BG decoration. I normaly planned to give the track a lot of decorations, such as controllers, finish banner, etc, but the DS will either lag or faces will disappear.
However, i'm makig also a Wii and 7 version, that will include these scrapped things.

I hope you did modify that model! Sm3d world uses high poly models (insanely high!)... If not then prepare for a massive dolphin crash lol

Don't worry, we used big optimization process technics and new technologies (200k to 16k polygons), and now they run on a real Wii. His own thread will give more informations.

Some of the Space Junk Blocks in Cloudy Garden Galaxy and the Ice Flower in Sweet Treat require memory patches. There's more like the Red Star and other small fixes for SMG1 bosses.
