I'm enjoying my HTC One S actually. Sense is not as bad as I thought.

Current phone: Pantech Flex
Current phone OS: Android 4.1.2
Happy?: yeah, but I'm dying for an update to Kit Kat. Least I have a Nexus to remedy
Additional info: absolutely stellar for the astounding price of free! Huge upgrade from my 3gs that stopped receiving 3g and later stopped receiving signal all together. Oh yeah and its rooted. No custom roms though

Anyways bumping because I love discussing phones.

Current Phone: iPhone 4S.
Current OS: NextGenUI (OS made by groovycarrot)
Current State: Working correctly. Semi-New.
Age: 2 years.
Modifications: Jailbroken, flashed service, different phone number ID and Operating System.
Comments: It may be an awesome phone when jailbroken and installed NextGenUI instead of having iOS 7.0.4, but I REALLY need to switch to Android, preferably, a Samsung Galaxy S5.

The S5 is pretty good, if you can wait, I'd say wait for the S6, but if you can't wait a while year, then get the S5.

It's a bummer TouchWiz is a total laggy experience though.

Not really, compare HTC Sense to TouchWiz and TouchWiz is the fastest thing. Sure, there isnt anything faster than stock android, but touchwiz is pretty fast compared to other UI's

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3
OS: Android 4.3
This phone is a pretty good one. It runs pretty fast and it can withstand impact. I want a S5 pretty soon, mainly so I can try Dolphin Emulator. My current processor doesnt support it. :/
The one thing that sucks is that it is from T Mobile. Their data coverage sucks.

Dolphin and Android in one sentence? Am I witnessing THE FUTURE?

Lol i saw a test on youtube of SSBM on a galaxy S4 and it seemed to run with a decent rate.

Just saw the app. People reviewed the app and I saw a lot of people settling for only 3fps :P, so idk

Because they expect their phones to run games at full speed. The upcoming Nvidia tablet might be able to run some games 100%, but even a Galaxy S5 can't get a decent frame rate.

Nah, I think the Nvidia Tablet's raw power is over rated. I think the price is awesome, and so are its features, playing your PC games anywhere in the house on a tablet for only $300 is awesome.

I'm patient. I might wait for the S6.

I know there's cracked APKs. I would switch to Android if I knew the software better to modify it. The only reason why I chose iOS over Android was because I could create jailbreak tweaks and had a programming language that I knew.

Well android is pretty easy, (java) and you don't really need to mod anything cause it's already super open for anyone

Never found rooting necessary with my phone, I think i'll root it when it's older, since then I can replace the ROM.
Meanwhile, with iOS, I found myself jailbreaking an ipod as soon as i got hold of it.

I wonder if Android has a similar theme to iOS' custom NextGenUI system theme.

well, "theme", depends on which Android version and which UI you're using. For example, the old tablet andoid 3.0 honey comb looked a lot like that, but now android OS's are becoming more simplistic and minimalistic.

I like NextGenUI. Android is hackable, right? I might port it to Android as soon as I get my hands on a S5.
