So... is there any way the opacity issue can be fixed? Or is it a browser thing? I know my layout on NSMBHD, which used opacity, didn't work for some people either.

the board blocks opacity.

use rgba() background instead.

A little update.

* Private messages get permalinks. It's useful if you want to link to another message earlier in a conversation for example.

* Everyone may now view post revisions. I figured there's no reason to withhold them.

* lol.php has been improved. (and fixed for PHP7)

* You can also view revisions for PMs that were edited, as long as you can access said PMs.

I'd have to build an interface for that.

The current changes happened because I noticed lol.php was broken, worked on fixing it, and then got inspired to go further. But most of it was already here before :P

The user and date for some revision pages seems to be broken.

Should be fixed -- some entries had missing user/date information.

While I'm at it, I'm going to try fixing some posts that had revisions lost a while ago.

Edit- there we go, all the old fucked up posts are now fixed, all the revisions are back! There were 6712 of them.

I actually fixed the board code right, it properly truncates shit now, and runs in 'proper' SQL mode.

What does this mean? For you end user, absolutely nothing (except that it could explode somewhere if I forgot something). For us, the code is more future-proof.

Well, I realized there might be reasons why one would want to edit a post out, like, hiding something from the public...

Soooo... now you can only use lol.php for your own posts.

Today, a series of fixes to the board uploader. Mostly better error checking.

I have also been fixing the server config so the uploader works as advertised. Files bigger than 2MB would be rejected, and even bigger sizes would fail harder, with either the request getting truncated or the connection getting reset. Now you can upload anything under 64MB.
