The blue dinosaur surrounded by the purple Cobrat-like and Tryclyde-like snakes is an original boss. I hope to see more original bosses and original boss battles. Well, I doubt SM3DW will have a hub so I think thos hane should have 16 worlds again but all the levels have different designs. Yeah. If anything is going well for this game, it does look like it is going to be an improvement over 3DL.
I also hope they have Mario able to move in all directions, not just 8. ____________________

I REALLY hope they fix it. It was a minor annoyance in 3D Land, and it appears to be the same in 3D World. ____________________

Also I gotta admit; SM3DW has one of the catchiest Athletic/Overworld themes I've heard amongst the Mario games. y'know at least I'm thankful that almost NONE of the Mario games released disappoint when it comes to music (except for NSMB2. That game only had TWO new music tracks. TWO! Well I hope it is something different than 3D Land's final boss. I don't like the "avoiding bowser" concept. I do like the "attacking bowser" concept more. ____________________

MSMBU had "avoiding" for phase 1 and "attacking" for phase 2. I don't like how Bowser hurts you if you him when he is still like in 3D Land. Ironically, touching Bowser while he was still in SM64(DS) hurts you but touching most other bosses does not. In SMG1&2 Mario does not get hurt of he touches Bowser, just as long as Bowser is not attacking.

Yeah, the NSMBU final boss was a major improvement over the other ones. I don't think we will know how this final boss is until at least a few more months, like every Mario game.
And do you think Bowser Jr will return? ____________________

We might be seeing the Koopalings. I speculate that they might be in.
As for Bowser Jr., SM3DK and NSMB2 both did not have Bowser Jr. But NSMBU did so maybe he will be back in this game. If Bowser Jr. is back, he might be riding in another machine or mech. He might be. Or maybe, he will be in introduced in a completely new and different way. Ok guys, I still have hope in SM3DW because of the alternate story (since Peach isn't kidnapped) and its four players. I was thinking, what if Bowser is kidnapped? Or some new, original villain comes out of nowhere and messes things up. Or what if there is a betrayal? Maybe Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings act like immature fools and rebel against their father? Or how about Wart? You do play as the SMB2 crew after all. Or maybe Wario and Waluigi have something to do with this game. Especially since in SML2, Wario stole the 6 Golden Coins and turned the Mushroom Kingdom into a dark, helpless land without kidnapping Peach. Also, I did actually dream of one day Nintendo making a 4-Player Co-Op. Even though I was disappointed about this game, I watched the developer's interview and found out some things. Right after 3D Land, the team was already thinking about the Wii U game. So, some of beta stuff that was trashed in 3D Land, could appear in 3D World. Also, it was said that they are also recycling beta stuff from previous 3D Mario games before SM3DL. And, have hope in another original 3D Mario game. I am a Assassin's Creed fan, and there's something I learned about the period between Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed III. Which was, that development for AC3 started after AC2, but they wanted to keep the fans with games while they wait. Which is why Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Revelations were made. So what if Nintendo is doing the same thing? Maybe there will be an original, open world 3D Mario game coming soon? |

It would be interesting to see a new villain in the 3D Mario series, like Wart or Wario and Waluigi (all of those names begin with 'W'). I sort of like the idea of the Koopalings being the main villains, though I do think it seems a bit out of character for Bowser Jr. to betray his father. |

We all want the open world 3D Mario to come soon. I cannot fucking wait to play SM3DW at Best Buy this Saturday!! I have too much hype!!
Anyway, 3D Land originally had Holden Tail Goombas that were removed. I think by "beta elements" it is "unused level design features" since I doubt Cosmic Toads or Hinokuri/Tramplin' Stu would be in 3D World, but that would also be cool if they were. I would love see the unused green grass-covered dirt mushrooms from early Cloudy Court in E3 2009 trailer of SMG2.
