I've heard it's REALLY hard to port Coastline's model into SMG2, elaborate please?

Yeah, it has textures that....well....that won't work at all.

So somebody has to edit them to make them work in order to export. Which takes a bit.

That's not the place to ask that.

And SSL: No. Cosmo just didn't texture it the right way it was supposed to.

I don't think blender supports texture removal, we are fucked. :P

I think cosmo should learn how to use maya or 3dsmax... it would make this process 99% easier. I mean he does great work but it's always a chore to get it working in the game.

There is no reason why blender models should be harder to convert than models made by other programs. If you are having problems, somebody should proabably tell me about it, so I might have a chance to fix them.

The problem isn't importing blender models into the game, the problem is the transfer that needs to be done since I'm the one texturing the model. Cosmo's models don't translate well to... well, any other 3d program, and as such it's hard for us to do work on them.

The reason why the model isn't working properly is because when I gave people the model I didn't unwrap the textures onto a png once I get that working then I don't know why the model shouldn't work, its just a matter of when I get the spare time to learn how to do that.

Also blank if you want to look at it I put the .blend file to the uploader section and you could try it.

Alright... that said, cosmo, I really think you should learn Maya. You can get it for free as a student, and matters would be extremely simplified if we were both using the same program. A lot of the stuff is similar, and I could help teach you some of it.

Umm, so will the model be remade?
