Hi,
I'm VERY new to the SMG hacking scene, like, I've been researching for two days and just starting opening programs today. I'm not sure where to start and was hoping someone could help me.

I'm trying to put my own textures on objects in the game. All I want to do is replace the textures of the planet and trees in one specific galaxy. I have no idea how to do that.
I'm working on Mac OSX and emulating through Dolphin.

I figured that the best thing to do would be to extract the .arc files of the galaxy and go through each object/texture used in the level and replace them with custom textures. I tried using ArcTools to expand it, but when I tried, it didn't actually open the file. It just created a new folder and put the .arc file inside.

I've been searching everywhere for videos or tutorials that would help, but I haven't found anything. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.

Like I said, I'm really new to doing hacks/mods/anything of the sort, so I need an explanation as simplified as possible
