Yeah. I'm thinking about having an enlarged Silver Chomp as a boss here, like the one that was supposed to be in SMG2 :3


EDIT: 1 planet has been fully designed, which I like to call 'WanwanDropPlanet' which will have normal chomps falling onto a long, road-like planet which Mario has to cross

Wait...planet? I thought it was going to be a single huge factory, not a mishmash like Chompworks. ;_;
"Long, road like"...It would be nice to have Chomps rolling everywhere on tracks, from side to side and dropping down and dropping off.

A factory doesn't just have to be a factory or building. You need paths to get around.

It doesn't just have to be a factory, take Sky High, or Aquaflame, they have one huge planet, which in this case could be the factory, and then possibly some smaller ones.

A place you can access with hungry luma that has you runing/jumping on giant gears would be nice. They would move to fast, so you use the slow down switch.

Just make the factory "opened" like a grille & patio. There could be small walls no taller than Mario himself and the machines would be within the open walls. In fact, open walls allow for guiding Silver Chomps and Golden Chomps.

I don't think Chomps should be focused on too much here. Too much like Chompworks.

That's the point....
Its supposed to be based on, IDR who made it on the old forum, I think HRE, but The Works which was Chompworks squared. It expanded on that idea.

Swootsa, I never had the name "Fearsome Factory" in mind and I was away so I do not know who expanded on my old idea. I think we should make it an ammunitions factory perhaps? Bullet Bills and Bob-ombs are crafted here. We should inspiration from that level in W8 of SM3DL that is Bullet Bill factory mixed with Flip-Swap. Bob-ombs and Mario Sunshine red-blue platforms would be like the first mission of Space Storm but with an added challenge.

I don't think it should specialize in anything in particular. Just a huge factory with many different zones.
(Bullet Base should be an ammunition factory IMO)
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about Bob-ombs. Definitely should be a room featuring them. :3
Flip-Swap? Well, a few puzzles with retextured Flip-Swap platforms could work, but I'm not sure if it'll fit in.
Hmm.
Amps, Bob-ombs, Mecha-koopas, retextured Ledge Hammers...can't think of many pure mechanical enemies...

Yeah this should be "their" galaxy (like Toy Time and Chomp Works). They could maybe be the factory's original owners, but everything just started going haywire suddenly when Mario arrived :3

The Toad's Factory course from MKW could be a Tiiiiny bit inspirational for this :)

My original concept for Bullet Base was a town-like galaxy. Using the ideas in the above posts, there could be "downtown" that was once run by the Gearmos but now Bullet Bills make themselves there.

EDIT: Chomps in an abandoned wind tunnel? Maybe even reactivating the testing fan for a possible Cloud Flower challenge?

Actually that's not a terrible idea....
You know those black hole things that spawn out enemies? Say there was a section that focused on conveyor belts. Mario has to stay on the belts without falling off, right? Well there could also be conveyor belts that send enemies (spawned by the black holes) towards Mario. There could be goombas, topmen, even chomps! I think that would be a cool and difficult section

I have idea for a section of the factory that deals with Warp Pipes (partially based on my old Pipeworks design). There could be this giant conveyor belt that drops off things on a pipe. If you in the pipe, you get transported to a black hole and die. Now, there will be warnings, don't get me wrong. You have to run up the conveyor belt to a sideways pipe that takes you to an area with all useless pipes. The useles pipes are used for platforming. After that section, you make it to the pipe-forging area. I don't know if it is possible to have red-hot pipes, but if we can, they should be used here. The red pipes come out of an oven and onto a conveyor that transports them to a small square tunnel. An invisible wall keeps you from going inside the tunnel (there is nothing gameplay-worthy inside). You must make it to the inside of the oven. A Ground Pound Switch inside stops the warp pipe production (oven shuts off, then the conveyor belt shuts off when the last pipe reaches the square tunnel). Good, but now what? The Ground Pound Switch also causes a Mecha-Koopa to appear. The Mecha-Koopa is inside a glass rectangle. Hitting the Lever Switch next to the glass rectangle causes it to disappear. You can now defeat the Mecha-Koopa to get a Key. The Key opens a door in the Warp Pipe forging chamber to your next destination.

I have an idea...
What if you are in a tunnel, right? And there are giant boxes and enemies coming on a conveyor belt towards you. (You are walking forward on the belt)
You have to avoid the boxes and such to prevent yourself from being pushed of the edge into the black hole underneath the tunnel

The tunnel should have a low ceiling so that Mario can't jump. That way, Mario will have to rely on waiting, hiding in niches, and back-tracking. That would be the puzzle of this galaxy.

There should also be forward conveyor belts in this galaxy so we can do something similar to the fast moving sand in what I think was dusty dunes. Instead though, we could have obstacles that Mario has to jump over while moving at high speeds.

Spikes? Like Bowser's Dreadmill. Only problem is that spikes would have to move with the conveyor belt and not stay in place with the rollers.

What we could use are Choppahs (meh) or electric fences (too unoriginal and overrated for this galaxy IMO).
