That picture's...weird and slightly creepy for some reason. But I don't see how to add a "reference" to that...Hmm...
Edit: well, the only thing that comes to mind is that common warping clock animation in other games...blarg, can't think of how to describe it. Bullet Base design- Final Frontier- (collab) There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, it's usually an oncoming express train. Slow and steady gets you trampled by the other guys. |

I think that this galaxy could have a lot of cool effects added into it if done right. They might not even NEED to be effects. You could add flat polygon objects that are like black outlines of clocks and such and use a texture animation to move the hands for added effect.

I actually just posted on DC, and I agree in the way that the level structure should be similar. This and DC should be linear, but taking place on multiple smaller planets |

technically I don't think you could use the melting clocks thing, because that's copyrighted and is one of the reasons why Earthbound wasn't released on virtual console
