What a damn catastrophe these storms have brought.

Hurricane Harvey brought devastation to Texas and other states, and Irma brought devastation to Florida, the Keys, and the islands, as well as Georgia.

Now, Hurricane Jose (or right now, Tropical Storm Jose at the time of writing this post) is subjected to possibly hit the east coast, where some of these board users reside at.

the images are 5 days out, but let's just hope for the best.

The way the prediction is going, we're getting slammed because they predict that it will be a hurricane when it does reach here.

Oh good, South Carolina couldn't deal with Hurricane Irma/Tropical Strom/Depression. I'm saying oh good because I thought Jose would hit Charleston area, but just like Irma it can just turn paths and kill all. Good luck anyone who will get hit by the map prediction.
jeez, I don't know what to put here now.

• Nadia: makes her BQFX file an AJ7
• SuperHackio: questions what that is
<~StapleButter> the AJ7 is an automatic rifle model based on the well-known AK47

Now these hurricanes are climate-change-induced with Harvey being the first, I think.

Tropical Depression 14 has formed off of the coast of Africa and is supposed to become a Tropical Storm in about 10 hours.

Well yippee fucking ki-yay. It's heading literally straight towards Georgia and or South Carolina. I really hope the ocean is cold.

Has this been like the most amount of Hurricanes hitting the US ever?

Isaac

Well 2017 seems to be it but no, 2004 seems to be the worst year of American Atlantic hurricanes. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Atlantic_hurricane_season

jeez, I don't know what to put here now.

No, 2005 - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Atlantic_hurricane_season. 2004 was the second-worst apparently.

It might possibly degrade as soon as it hits land, hopefully.

Don't hurricanes always degrade when they hit land?

Baby Luigi
Posted on 09-20-17 02:46 PM Link | #89263
I mean, degrade to the point where it's not Category 5 anymore.

Maybe I'm being naive?

Gosh, what's with this hurricane combo?

Or was I too young/not around when something like this happened before? :P
